At present, there is no specific clinical treatment for allergic purpura. Relatively speaking, TCM has unique advantages and has achieved good results. Professor ZHANG Shiqing has plentiful experience and deep understanding on treating allergic purpura. He puts the mind of “hypersensitive toxic, damp, heat and stasis“ in the first place, treats with “clearing heat and dampness, resisting allergy and removing blood stasis“ . He also develops a basic prescription named “,Kangmin Sicao Xiaoban, Decoction“ to treat the disease. According to the different positions of hypersensitive toxic, damp, heat and blood stasis, he delicately combines the prescriptions of clearing heat and dampness in the therapy and the efficacy is gratifying. This article summarized Professor ZHANG’s experience in treating allergic purpura and analyzed one case to enlighten other doctors.
