For patients with lumbar disc herniation whose nerve roots still have activity space in the spinal canal, lateral crypt, and nerve root canal, Professor LI Huadong, guided by the thought of "integrating traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine", puts forward a treatment option which targets the nerve roots and ligaments at the internal and external orifices of intervertebral foramen and varies with the phase of the disease.
