Clinical Experience of XIA Yuqing in Treatment of Postoperative Metastasis of Endometrial Carcinoma by Supplementing Qi and Activating Blood Circulation
Summary of medical history, Miao, female, 60 years old, went to the hospital because of "Irregular vaginal bleeding for 3 months and endometrial cancer for more than 2 months after surgery". Three months ago, our patient showed irregular vaginal bleeding without any obvious cause. Gynecologic ultrasound showed endometrial thickening and uneven echo. On July 22, 2019, hysteroscopy and curettage were performed, and the postoperative pathology showed endometrial carcinoma. On 21 August 2019, total hysterectomy with double attachments was performed. Postoperative pathology showed highly differentiated adenocarcinoma, and pathological stage was stage Ia. CT scan of her chest on 23 October 2019 showed a space-occupying lesion in her right lung, a primary lung cancer awaiting differentiation from a metastatic tumor; Pleural metastasis. Expert consultation from Tumor Hospital of Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences for clinical diagnosis of lung metastasis; For pleural metastasis, the patient refused the intervention of western medicine, and the hospital did not formulate the western medicine treatment plan.,TCM diagnosis, Metrorrhagia; Pulmonary retention (Qi deficiency and blood stasis, phlegm-dampness stagnation syndrome),Diagnosis of western medicine, Lung metastasis and pleural metastasis of carcinoma in situ of endometrium,Therapeutic methods, Electroacupuncture combined with filiform needling external therapy combined with Sijun zi Decoction or modified Shenqi Pill were used for regulating and tonifying qi and blood, removing stasis, removing dampness and phlegm, invigorating spleen and kidney, and removing toxic substances,Clinical outcomes ,Since the patient adhered to the acupuncture and medication in traditional Chinese medicine for three years, the chest stuffiness and cough disappeared. After reexamination, the lung mass on chest CT was reduced, and the pleural metastasis disappeared. The curative effect of palliative treatment was exact.
