A Case Report of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Treatment of Polycystic Ovary Syndrome Infertility
Summary of case history, The patient has not been pregnant for more than 2 years, and usually has irregular menstruation, 5-7 days/40-90 days, less volume, darker color, no blood clots, and mild dysmenorrhea, LMP: January 29, 2022. The patient complained that the menstrual condition improved slightly after intermittently taking hormones (specifically unknown), and repeated after stopping the drug. Engraved syndrome: The patient's menstrual period was overdue for more than one month, and there was no obvious abdominal pain. Occasionally, the waist and knees are sore and weak, dizziness and tinnitus.. The tongue is pale, with a thin white coating. The base of the tongue is dark red and slightly tortuous.The six veins are sink the fine.,TCM diagnosis, 1. Female infertility, spleen and kidney deficiency syndrome 2. Late menstrual period, spleen and kidney deficiency syndrome,Western medicine diagnosis, 1. Infertility 2. Polycystic ovary syndrome,Therapeutic methods, The patient was initially treated with Siwu decoction and Xiaoyao San to regulate menstruation; in the second diagnosis, the addition and subtraction of Zhuluan decoction was given; at the third diagnosis, the addition and subtraction of Neiyan decoction was given first, and later, the addition and subtraction of Zhuluan decoction was used in conjunction with the Nuanchao pot, and the patient was instructed at the same time. Take letrozole from the 5,th, day of menstruation to promote ovulation. On the 6,th, day after intercourse, the implantation pot was given to promote embryo implantation. In the fourth diagnosis, following the addition and subtraction of Zhuluan decoction, the monitoring of ovulation and the time of intercourse was arranged. The fifth diagnosis was pregnant, and the addition and subtraction of Antai Fang was given. Six clinics continued to use Antai pot tocolysis treatment. The whole process of treatment regulates the growth state of follicles from the perspective of yin and yang balance, supplemented by the adjustment of ovarian and endometrial conditions, combined with Zang-fu syndrome differentiation, through conditioning the spleen and kidney two organs, nourishing Qi and blood, and adjusting Chong and Ren.,Clinical outcomes, The patient went to the doctor with delayed menstruation and infertility for 2 years. Combined with the medical history and examination, the patient was diagnosed as irregular menstruation and infertility caused by polycystic ovary syndrome. The syndrome belongs to deficiency of spleen and kidney, and the treatment is always based on the method of tonifying the kidney and strengthening the spleen, regulating the meridians and promoting the pregnancy. Siwutang and Xiaoyaosan adjust the meridians and collaterals, help the Zhuluan decoction to adjust the foam and assist in pregnancy, and cooperate with Nuanchao pot, film nourishing cream, implantation pot, and miscarriage pot medicated diet to increase the power of follicle nourishment, endometrial growth, and implantation aid. The diagnosis and treatment resulted in a clinical pregnancy.
