Acupuncture Treatment of Hyperthyroidism :A Case Report增强出版
Summary of case history ,Patient WU, female, 23 years old, went to see a doctor because of "felt palpitation, sweating and fatigue for more than 1 month". In February 2020, the patient reported palpitation, spontaneous sweating, general fatigue, emotional tension, irritability, no sudden eyes, easy hunger, shaking hands, weight loss and other symptoms without obvious inducement. On March 13, 2020, she went to the First Affiliated Hospital of Kunming Medical University, where was diagnosed as "hyperthyreosis". On April 20, she went to Wu Jing Road of Kunming Sheng Ai Chinese Medicine Museum. Symptoms and signs: The patient felt flustered, spontaneous perspiration, fatigue, accompanied by emotional tension, irritability, good diet, normal urination, insomnia, red tongue, less moss, wiry pulse, and count.,TCM diagnosis ,gall disease (hyperactivity of fire due to yin deficiency),Western medicine diagnosis ,hyperthyreosis.,Therapeutic methods ,Traditional Chinese medicine takes nourishing yin and reducing fire, soothing liver and tonifying kidney as the treatment method, and is treated with classical qi-regulating acupuncture.,Clinical outcomes ,recovery.
