Chief physician Ran deals with Chinese medicine gynecology diseases more than 20 years in the south of the Five Ridges, she has rich clinical experience and unique insights, especially good at treating gynecology hemorrhagic diseases from the liver. Now through analyse a case of Ran in treating hemorrhage due to placental implantation, the experience for clinical reference was summarized. In this case, the patient's diagnosis of TCM is postpartum lochia, and the syndrome differentiation is heart-liver blood deficiency, damp-heat in the liver meridian. Ran used Qinggan Zhilin decoction to soothing liver and nourishing spleen, tonifying blood and inhibitioning of fire, the Jiaoai decoction to nourishing blood and softening liver, and the Kaiyu Zhongyu decoction to nourishing yin and regulating thoroughfare-conception vessels. It made a good therapeutic effect with differentiation and treatment of these three decoctions. The patient finally can recover a regular menstrual cycle.
