This paper introduces the discussion on the symptoms, etiology and pathogenesis of red sweat disease by medical experts in the past dynasties and summarizes Professor SUN Yuxin＇s understanding of TCM in the treatment of red sweat disease. He thinks that the basic pathogenesis of the disease is both instability of body fluid and blood and leakage of the heart＇s fluid. Most of the diseases belong to heat syndrome, and they can be divided into deficiency and excess. His therapy revolves around the heart with syndrome differentiation from the spleen and kidney to regulate the abnormality of Qi, blood, Yin and Yang of the heart caused by the heart itself or other organs. Two cases with different syndrome types of the disease are included, in order to analyze his thinking and prescription intention of the treatment of this disease from the heart, spleen and kidney. By summarizing Professor SUN Yuxin＇s syndrome differentiation characteristics in the treatment of red sweat disease from the heart, spleen and kidney and analysis of relevant medical cases, this paper is aimed to provide some diagnosis and treatment ideas for clinical treatment of the same disease.
