Professor JIA Liujin holds that both external and internal dampness can cause obstruction of meridians, qi and blood, which can not be dispersed and purged, failing to moisten and nourish the skin, thereby secondarily generating children with psoriasis. Pathogenic dampness is prone to combine with pathogenic heat to induce diseases, wherein psoriasis is most closely related to pathogenic damp-heat, thereby the main pathogenesis thereof is damp-heat stagnation in the skin, taking clearing away heat and drying dampness as the main therapeutic principle. In clinical practice, self-made Liumiao Tang (六妙汤) acts directly on the affected parts of mutual accumulation of damp-heat, cooperated with psychotherapy and life aftercare in the course of treatment, whereby obtaining marked efficacy. One case is attached for verification.
