For chronic disease leading to damage to blood vessel and blockage of collaterals, Shijianchuan (,Herba Salviae Chinensis,) and other same-type medicinals can be used for promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, and Baiji (,Rhizoma Bletillae,) can be used for dispersing swelling and generating muscles. For insomnia, Xingren (,Semen Armeniacae Amarum,), Zisuzi (,Fructus Perillae,), Fangfeng (,Radix Saposhnikoviae,), Yuliren (,Semen Pruni,), Baiziren (,Semen Platycladi,), etc.can be added. For Removing wind and dampness, Xuchangqing (,Radix Cynanchi Paniculati,), Qianghuo (,Radix et Rhizoma Notopterygii,) and Fangfeng (Radix Saposhnikoviae) can be added.
