Professor YANG Dianhui holds that the major disease mechanism of pediatric facial paralysis is that there are prenatal deficiency and insufficient qi and blood internally, and wind evils attacking face externally. In addition, attention should also be paid to the influence of liver qi stagnation and mental disorders on the development and prognosis of facial paralysis in children. The treatment mainly in volves acupuncture,including moxibustion, ear points seed paste, cupping, acupoint injection and other therapies, which are often applied in combination and with flexibility. In the treatment, holism concept should be stuck on and regulating viscera should be emphasized to sooth liver and regulate mind with human oriented.
