Presented to the clinic on October 21, 2021 with the complaints of itchy nose, nasal congestion, sneezing and clear runny nose, recurrent episodes for 10+ years, aggravated for 10 days.She complained of a 10+ year history of allergic rhinitis, with recurrent episodes of nasal itching, nasal congestion, sneezing, and runny nose whenever the climate changes or when exposed to cold and wind, especially in the morning and at night.During this period, she had been referred to several hospitals, and the results were not satisfactory after applying various treatments.10 days ago, after being cold inadvertently, she developed itchy nose, nasal congestion, sneezing, and a lot of clear mucus, accompanied by itchy eyes, and was forced to rub her eyes and nose with her hands from time to time, with heavy dizziness and tiredness,So she was seen at a people's hospital in Chengdu and was diagnosed with "allergic rhinitis" and given loratadine and a topical nasal spray (details unknown), which temporarily relieved the itching and nasal congestion, but immediately flared up when exposed to cold air.Today, the patient visited our outpatient clinic for further consultation and treatment.When she come to the clinic, she complain of itchy nose and eyes, and when take off the mask and inhale cold air or are stimulated by cold wind, she will sneeze continuously and have tears and snot coming out, and feel that the snot is flowing backwards towards the back of the throat.Pain in the tip of the nose, alternating with nasal congestion, less sensitive sense of smell than before, dizziness, general weakness, cough without phlegm, fear of wind and cold, poor sleep, normal bowel movements.
