Summary of case history,　Wang,female, 87 years old ,was admitted to our hospital on October 13,2022, due to right hip fracture caused by falling injury. On October 18,2022,she underwent open reduction and intramedullary nail internal fixation for right hip fracture after completing relevant examinations. Three days after the operation,she developed induration of stool difficulty in defecation and abdominal distension. Since the injury, she had poor appetite, self-adjustment of urine, less stool, sheep-like stool, dry mouth, red tongue and less moss, and fine pulse.,TCM diagnosis,　Constipation(Syndrome of yin deficiency and intestinal dryness),Western medicine diagnosis,　Constipation.,Therapeutic methods,　The treatment of intervention measures is early purging heat and laxative, nourishing yin and increasing fluid, tonifying qi and blood in the middle and late stages, and applying Zengye Chengqi Decoction and Bazhen Decoction. Water decoction, 1 dose a day, warm in the morning and evening.,Clinical outcomes,　By staging the symptoms of abdominal distension and constipation induced by yin deficiency and intestinal dryness, the clinical symptoms were significantly improved, and there was no recurrence so far.
