Summary of case history ,The patient Zhang, female, 24 years old. Date of first consultation: March 14, 2019. She complained about repeated ear fullness and hearing loss in the left ear for 3 months, and reoccurrence for 2 days. The patient got left ear fullness due to fatigue three months ago, and was diagnosed with sudden left ear deafness (low frequency decreased type) at a local hospital. Hearing and ear fullness recovered after hormone and dehydration drug treatment. Since then, the patient relapsed after fatigue, and hormones and dehydration drugs were given after each seizure. The patient suffered from ear stuffiness again and repeated attacks of the disease, so she came to see doctor. At the time of consultation, the symptpms were:left ear fullness with tinnitus and hearing loss, no dizziness, no nausea and vomiting, no fever and chills and other discomforts, mental fatigue, pale complexion, pale nails, pale tongue, tooth marks on the edges, and white greasy coating and the thin pulse. Pure tone audiometry: left ear low-frequency decreased sensorineural hearing loss.
