Summary of case history ,The patient Zheng, male, 58 years old. On August 2, 2019, he went to a doctor for "intermittent epigastric distension and pain for more than one month". More than one month ago, the patient had no obvious cause of intermittent gastric distension and pain, accompanied by heartburn and acid regurgitation. The local hospital had poor treatment effect. Therefore, the patient went to Dongzhimen Hospital of Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and was diagnosed as "chronic atrophic gastritis". After treatment with traditional Chinese medicine, the symptoms were repeated. In order to make systematic diagnosis and treatment, we went to our outpatient department. Symptoms and signs: the patient has bloated stomach, occasional stomachache, heartburn, acid regurgitation, no dry mouth and bitter taste, no nausea and vomiting, general sleep, can urinate, and defecate 3 to 4 times a day. The tongue is red, the fur is yellow, thick and greasy, and the pulse is smooth.,TCM diagnosis ,Stuffiness of stomach (Damp-heat obstruction ,qi stagnation).,Western medicine diagnosis ,Chronic atrophic gastritis.,Therapeutic methods, Traditional Chinese medicine uses the method of clearing heat and humidity, rationalizing qi and stomach, and giving self-formulated Chinese medicine treatment.,Clinical outcomes, After the treatment, the patient's symptoms such as stomach bloating and heartburn basically disappeared, and occasionally the mouth was dry, and the remaining did not complain of discomfort.
