Summary of case history ,Zhang Mou, male, 59 years old, farmer, suffered from belching and upper abdominal distension for more than 1 year due to emotional stimulation due to family changes. One week ago, the patient had no obvious incentive for belching aggravation, accompanied by a burning sensation in the epigastric area, Anorexia and other symptoms, denied the history of food allergy, no obvious abnormality in physical examination and laboratory examination. On May 14, 2020, the electronic gastroscope was checked at the General Hospital of Xishan Coal and Electricity Group and showed: 1. Fundus polyps 2. Chronic gastritis. Pathological diagnosis: 1. Fundic gland polyps 2. Chronic inflammation of gastric horn mucosa 3. Mild intestinal metaplasia and hyperplasia of glands in some areas. The patient was admitted to the outpatient department of our hospital. Main symptoms: belching, fullness in the upper abdomen, burning sensation in the epigastric area, occasional dry mouth, upset and irritable, poor appetite, insomnia and dreaminess, stool twice a day, smooth in texture, red tongue tip, thin yellow coating,thin pulse.,TCM diagnosis ,belching fire depression spleen earth syndrome,Western medicine diagnosis ,chronic atrophic gastritis,Therapeutic methods ,Oral Chinese medicine,Clinical outcomes ,After TCM intervention, the patient complained that her earlier symptoms were significantly improved, her mood was more relaxed than before, the belching basically disappeared and her stomach was increased, and her sleep was improved, her tongue was light red, her moss was thin, and her pulse string was thin. TCM treatment was continued.
