Summary of case history ,The boy, 7 years old, was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy and vitamin D deficiency after systemic examination due to weakness of lower limbs and walking disorder caused by external high fever.After oral treatment with prednisolone acetate tablets and calcium carbonate D3 tablets, significant improvement was still observed. After treatment with Traditional Chinese medicine, the steroid was reduced, the symptoms of lower limbs were improved.,TCM diagnosis ,Stroke, External assault by wind-cold and meridian stasis syndrome.,Western medicine diagnosis ,Duchenne muscular dystrophy.,Therapeutic methods, Dispels wind and cold ,activate blood and dissolve stasis therapy is used by TCM, at the same time use steroid therapy.,Clinical outcomes ,The clinical symptoms of the children were significantly improved, the steroid was reduced from 3.75 tablets (5 mg/tablet) to 1 tablet after 10 weeks of treatment with traditional Chinese medicine, and the indexes of myocardial enzymes were improved,CK decreased from＞16000U/L to＞13265U/L、CKMB decreased from 522U/L to 331U/L、LDH decreased from 1819U/L to 1367U/L.
