摘要:Diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN)is one of the most common chronic complications of diabetes mellitus(DM). Professor TONG Xiaolin classified DPN as ‘blood glucose collateral disease’ and thought it was in the ‘deficiency and damage’ stage of DM. It may originate from ‘Xiao Dan’or ‘Pi Dan’, which eventually leads to peripheral neuropathy due to collateral stasis. According to the degree of collateral disease, DPN is divided into early collateral stasis, midterm collateral stasis, late collateral closure and collateral damage, which guides syndrome differentiation by stages. The treatment of DPN should be adjusted as a whole, treat the collateral throughout the whole process, select the prescription based on syndrome differentiation and modify the prescription according to clinical symptoms.
摘要:This study summarized Professor WANG Guocai's clinical experience in treating insomnia based on the pathogenesis of blood stasis. He considers that the lingering refractory disease is closely related to blood stasis, blood stasis runs through the whole process of the disease. In terms of the treatment, the main method is promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis, assisted by supplementing Heart and Spleen, resolving phlegm and regulating Qi, soothing Liver and relieving depression, as well as tranquilizing mind with heavy material. The corresponding cases were attached for sharing with the peers.
摘要:Prof. LUO Xiangxia believed that"all dampness and swelling and fullness belong to the spleen", spleen qi deficiency, loss of healthy movement, and dampness trapped in the macula, causing water and dampness retention in the macula. The evil of water and dampness (water, drink and dampness are all changes of fluids, so this article collectively refers to the evil of water and dampness, without detailed investigation) enters the retina through the diseased pigment epithelium, causing detachment of the retinal neuroepithelial layer, which develops into CSC and endangers the patient's vision. Accordingly, the basic treatment method of "warming Yang and strengthening the spleen, permeating dampness and promoting water circulation" was established for spleen deficiency and dampness trapped type CSC. The treatment of this disease is based on the theory of spleen deficiency and dampness, and by following this method and combining it with the thinking of Chinese medicine, we can achieve better results and provide new ideas and strategies for clinical treatment to improve the quality of life of CSC patients.

摘要:Master of traditional Chinese medicine ZHANG Jingsheng, who has been engaged in traditional Chinese medicine for 50 years, is good at treating coronary heart disease (CHD) . At the end of the 20th century, Prof. ZHANG developed a new medicine named Guanxinkang (冠心康), which worked well in treating CHD by replenishing spleen Qi and dispelling phlegm and blood stasis. However, in the last 20 years, people faced craving for spicy food, irregular bedtime, and mounting social pressure. In such a situation, Prof. ZHANG thought that CHD was mainly caused by Qi-Yin deficiency and blood stasis, and its treating method should be replenishing Qi and nourishing Yin, invigorating blood circulation and removing blood stasis. The prescription is based on Danshen Shengmai Yin (丹参生脉饮), which includes four kinds of Chinese herbal medicine called Danshen (Salviae Miltiorrhizae Radix Et Rhizoma), Taizishen (Pseudostellariae Radix), Maimendong (Ophiopogonis Radix) and Wuweizi (Schisan-drae Chinensis Fructus) . In clinical diagnosis and treatment, Prof. ZHANG will add small prescriptions or drug pairs, according to individual symptoms and therapy experience. By this way, remarkable clinical effect can be achieved, which evenmakes obvi-ous relief to the multi-vessel pathological highly narrow patients.

摘要:In light of the fact that plasma cell mastitis often leads to both physical illness and spiritual illness, Professor MA Sheng proposes the treatment method of "simultaneous regulation of body and spirit". In treatment of the body, he emphasizes that cold coagulation, qi stagnation, phlegm obstruction, and qi and blood deficiency are the common pathogenic factors of the disease, and advocates treating yang to dissipate yin, treating qi to dissipate swelling, treating phlegm to eliminate carbuncle, regulating qi and blood to consolidate the root. In treatment of spirit, he focuses on the patients' anxiety, worry, inferiority and other negative emotions, and uses the following methods: soothing the liver and smoothing the spirit, nourishing the heart and tranquilizing the spirit, strengthening the spleen and keeping the spirit, and doctor-patient cooperation. He often uses the prescriptions such as Xiaochaihu Decoction (小柴胡汤), Yanghe Decoction (阳和汤), Linggui Zhugan Decoction (苓桂术甘汤) and couplet medicinals such as Mahuang (Ephedrae Herba) -Rougui (Cinnamomi Crotex), Baijiezi (Sinapis Semen) -Banxia (Pinelliae Rhizoma), Bailian (Ampelopsis Radix) -Baiji (Bletillae Rhizoma), and so on.

摘要:For patients with lumbar disc herniation whose nerve roots still have activity space in the spinal canal, lateral crypt, and nerve root canal, Professor LI Huadong, guided by the thought of "integrating traditional Chinese medicine and western medicine", puts forward a treatment option which targets the nerve roots and ligaments at the internal and external orifices of intervertebral foramen and varies with the phase of the disease. In the acute phase, the treatment consists of the following two methods: Nerve block in the internal and external orifices of intervertebral foramen, and micro needle knife release therapy for microligaments in the internal and external orifices of intervertebral foramen. In the remission phase, nerve stimulation by acupuncture is applied in the internal and external orifices of intervertebral foramen. In the chronic phase, the patients are given instantaneous strong stimulation by electroacupuncture. Professor LI Huadong integrates the advantages of acupuncture, needle knife, medicinals, electroacupuncture and other treatment means, which has achieved good curative efficacy.

摘要:Professor Huang Tao believes that the pathogenesis of sweating is defensive qi failing to open and close, the loose interstitial striae and the leakage of nutrient yin. Nutrient and defense qi is rooted in the middle energizer. The qi of the spleen and stomach in the middle energizer (middle qi)is to lift the qi of the five internal organs. The treatment should focus on the middle qi and the body cardinal. Center-Supplementing and Qi-Boosting Decoction can invigorate the middle qi and ascend the lucid qi. Wind medicinals can be added to enhance the effect of eliminating wind and removing dampness, dispersing stagnant heat, and opening interstitial striae and channels. In clinical practice, Mahuang(Herba Ephedrae), Guizhi(Ramulus Cinnamomi), Jingjie(Herba Schizonepetae), Fangfeng(Radix Saposhnikoviae), Qianghuo(Radix et Rhizoma Notopterygii), Baizhi(Radix Angelicae Dahuricae), Gaoben(Rhizoma Ligustici), Bohe(Herba Menthae), Gegen(Radix Puerariae Lobatae)are often selected so as to restore defense yang, maintain nutrient yin, harmonize nutrient and defense qi, which can heal sweating.

摘要:Endometrial thickening is a non-physiological endometrial gland hyperplasia in women. It is regarded as a precancerous lesion of endometrial cancer. It has become more and more common in women in recent years. It is clinically characterized by abnormal uterine bleeding, abnormal vaginal discharge or Symptoms such as lower abdomen pain are more common. According to their clinical manifestations, they belong to the category of Chinese medicine metrorrhagia. At present, the diagnostic standards for endometrial hyperplasia diseases at home and abroad have not been unified, and the treatment is also lacking in standardization. Professor Yang Zhengwang found that the adolescent endometrial thickening syndrome is the most common clinically with kidney deficiency and blood stasis syndrome. The treatment is mainly to invigorate the liver and kidney, supplemented by activating blood to remove blood stasis, and adding and subtracting Dabuyuan decoction. The clinical effect is good. This article focuses on the clinical experience of Dabuyuan decoction in the treatment of endometrial thickening in order to provide traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis and treatment ideas.

摘要:Recurrent urinary tract infections belong to the category of "Laolin" in Traditional Chinese medicine. The basic pathogenesis is chronic illness, Spleen and Kidney deficiency as well as the Evil factor of Dampness-Heat lingering in the bladder. The treatment emphasizes the holistic concept and focuses on both manifestation and root cause. It is advocated to tonify Spleen and Kidney to achieve the effect of consolidating vital base and cultivating primordial Qi. From the holistic concept, it is necessary to take into account of the Heart, Liver, and Lungs to avoid transmission and changes. Reasonable selection of drugs in removing bladder Dampness-Heat by combining with local symptoms properly can strengthen vital Qi and remove pathogenic factors. The principle of "matching three factors" should be adopted to formulate individualized plans, completely eliminate internal and external risk factors, and avoid the recurrence of the disease.

摘要:By tracing the source of typhoid fever and combining clinical practice, Professor Cui Shuke puts forward the diagnosis and treatment thinking of"disease differentiation with six meridians as well as disease and syndrome correspondence, integration of syndrome and prescription as well as prescription and syndrome matching".The disease-diagnosis thinking of six meridians means to diagnose the disease first, which is nothing more than six diseases of Taiyang, Yangming, Shaoyang, Taiyin, Shaoyin, and Jueyin, then to identify the prescription and look for the corresponding clues of the prescription.Treatment of insomnia should be based on syndrome differentiation from the two aspects of deficiency and excessiveness, and the main treatment principle is replenishing deficiency and reducing excessiveness as well as reconciling Yin and Yang. For the excess syndrome, the method is mainly to expel its excessiveness. If the Evil Fire disturbs the Spirit, the Fire should be expelled. If static blood is blocked, the method should be activating blood circulaton. If the Phlegm disturbs the mind, the Phlegm should be removed and inducing resuscitation. For deficiency syndrome, the method is mainly to make up for its insufficiency, such as nourishing the Heart and Spleen, nourishing Qi and Blood as well as nourishing the Liver and Kidney.Based on this, tranquilizers can also be added accordingly, such as panic tranquilizers, blood-nourishing tranquilizers and Heart Fire-clearing tranquilizers.
