摘要:Henoch Schonlein purpura nephritis is one of the most common secondary glomerular diseases in children. Some patients who do not recover can develop into end-stage renal disease, which seriously endangers the life and health of children. Professor DING Ying, one of the first famous TCM doctors in China, has been engaged in pediatric nephropathy for more than 40 years, and has undertaken two national science and technology support plan projects around the research of purpura nephritis, and has accumulated rich experience in the treatment of Henoch Schonlein purpura nephritis. She thinks that the key to the pathogenesis of the disease is blood-stasis blocking collaterals, so the basic principle of treatment is to relax the meridians and unblock collaterals, and promote blood circulation to remove blood stasis. Rattan medicines have the shape of winding and spreading, crisscrossing, like human collaterals all over the body. It is a good product to open the ligaments and invigorate blood, and has been clinically applied for several years with remarkable efficacy. This article summarizes Professor DING Ying's experience on treating purpura nephritis from the perspective of blood-stasis blocking collaterals, and further explores the choice of rattan medicines and dosages in order to better serve the clinic.

摘要:Allergic rhinitis is one of the common clinical diseases. Western medicine treatment mostly starts from alleviating inflammation, and traditional Chinese medicine mostly treats it from spleen and kidney deficiency cold and exogenous wind cold. This paper aims to analyze the syndrome differentiation factors of allergic rhinitis—wind and fluid retention, which are often ignored in TCM syndrome differentiation. By summarizing and analyzing Professor ZHANG Lishan's experience in the treatment of allergic rhinitis with Qufeng Yizi Powder(驱风一字散), this paper analyzes the manifestation and important position of expelling wind and fluid retention in the onset of this disease. It can treat allergic rhinitis. In the process of syndrome differentiation and treatment of allergic rhinitis, we should pay full attention to the role of wind and fluid retention. Dispelling wind and removing fluid retention should run through the whole process of allergic rhinitis with wind and fluid retention as the most important type.

摘要:Ganlu Xiaodu Dan (甘露消毒丹) is a representative prescription for the treatment of damp-warm diseases. Its main effects are promoting urination, removing turbidity, clearing heat and detoxification. Professor WANG Youpeng believes that the evil of damp-heat causes a wide range of diseases. If damp-heat invades the upper Jiao, it will cause sore throat, thirst, dizziness and headache. If damp-heat alternates with middle Jiao, chest tightness, abdominal distension and nausea will occur. If damp-heat going downward, there is short red urine, sticky stool, or even diarrhea and stranguria. When the evil of damp-heat is diffuse, the limbs are sore and heavy. Although the clinical manifestations of the diseases applicable to Ganlu Xiaodu Dan are different, the basic pathogenesis is damp-heat. According to the principle of "treating different diseases with the same treatment" and "using the prescription for the syndrome", Professor WANG Youpeng used Ganlu Xiaodu Dan as the main prescription to treat children with persistent low fever, chickenpox and cold, and the clinical therapeutic effect is quite good. The purpose of this paper is to summarize Professor WANG's experience in the treatment of pediatric diseases with Ganlu Xiaodu Dan.

摘要:Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) is a common and frequently-occurring disease, characterized by a long course, multiple complications, high disability and mortality. COPD patients are in a state of weakness and low quality of life. At present, the pathogenesis of COPD is not clear, and the clinical efficacy is limited. Inheriting the knowledge of traditional Chinese medicine on COPD, combined with the actual clinical situation, it is believed that the root cause of the disease is the dysfunction of the viscera with lung and spleen as the core. The holistic view of the internal organs with lung and spleen as the core in the treatment of COPD can improve the functions of lung, spleen and kidney, consolidate the Weiqi and cut off the source of phlegm, which can achieve the goal of delaying progress, and reducing disability and improving the quality of life, etc. This method meets clinical needs and provides reference for traditional Chinese medicine treatment.

摘要:Chronic nephritis is a group of primary glomerular diseases composed of a variety of different etiologies and pathological types. Its clinical characteristics are lingering and difficult to heal, easy to relapse, accompanied by varying degrees of edema, proteinuria, hematuria, hypertension and/or azotemia, and progressive renal function damage. This paper systematically expounds Professor YANG Nizhi's academic thought and clinical experience in the treatment of chronic nephritis from the aspects of etiology and pathogenesis, experience induction and case analysis. Professor YANG Nizhi believes that chronic nephritis belongs to the categories of "edema" and "urine turbidity" in traditional Chinese medicine. Most of chronic nephritis is the syndrome of deficiency and excess, which is the deficiency and loss of Zang-Fu organs. The deficiency and excess is due to the deficiency and loss of Zang-Fu organs, resulting in Qi movement dysfunction, retention of dampness, turbidity and toxic pathogens, or external pathogens invading the human body, most of which are water-dampness, dampness-heat and blood stasis. Its clinical treatment focuses on the combination of disease differentiation and syndrome differentiation, the combination of evil and vital Qi, and the combination of traditional Chinese and Western medicine. Its treatment of chronic nephritis based on the theory of "Qi deficiency and blood stasis" has a significant clinical effect, which can effectively delay the progress of the disease and improve the quality of life of patients. According to its common clinical prescriptions, the author summarizes the basic prescriptions and their modified formulae in the treatment of chronic nephritis, in order to provide the experience and ideas of syndrome differentiation and treatment.

摘要:Professor WU Shentao believes that cold-poison is an important pathological factor of painful diabetic peripheral neuropathy(PDPN). The basic pathogenesis is that cold accumulating into toxin, stagnation of Qi and blood, and decline of original Yang. Although there is deficiency, but evil pathogen is urgent, only using toxins to attack poison can shake the root. In clinical treatment, the method of invigorating Yang to dissipate cold and promoting blood circulation to activate collateral has repeatedly achieved remarkable results.

摘要:Allergy is one of the common chronic recurrent diseases in life, the incidence of which is also increasing, reducing the quality of life of people with allergies. The Chinese medical record of this disease has a long history, focusing on the treatment of both symptoms and root causes, while Western medicine is based on the control of symptoms, treating symptoms rather than the root cause. Professor Huang Heqing is good at treating lung diseases with integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine. Now, through learning from teachers in outpatient department, he has summarized his clinical experience in treating related allergic diseases with allergy decoction, and attached three medical cases below.

摘要:The balance of yin and yang of the human body depends on the coordination of the rise and fall of qi, and the spleen and stomach is the hub of the rise and fall of human body qi. When Professor Huang Zhengde applied the theory of ascending and descending in clinic, he always focused on spleen and stomach, and advocated ascending and descending, especially Shengyang Yiwei decoction for differential treatment of various internal miscellaneous diseases, not only limited to the typical diseases of spleen and stomach, such as stomachache, fullness, noise, vomiting, diarrhea, etc., all diseases belong to the pathogenesis of ascending and descending disorders, which can be treated based on syndrome differentiation, and different diseases can be treated with the same treatment. To expound Professor Huang Zhengde academic thought and clinical experience in the application of lifting theory, and 3 cases are attached to prove it.

摘要:Perspiration syndrome refers to a disorder in which sweat is leaking abnormally due to the imbalance of yin and yang and the inability of the body to be stable. Professor CHEN Baogui believes that perspiration syndrome is mostly based on deficiency of both qi and yin, with depression and heat as the superficiality. Its pathological nature belongs to the combination of deficiency and excess, and its location is in lung, spleen, kidney which mechanism is complex. In clinical, it is divided into three syndromes including qi deficiency of lung and spleen, syndrome of stagnation of heat in stomach, and syndrome of deficiency of kidney essence, which can be treated with the methods of supplement lung and spleen, clean the stomach heat, tonify kidney essence.

摘要:The pathogenesis of Bupleurum plus Os Draconis and Oyster Shell Decoction includes the liver and gallbladder failing to disperse, disorder of triple energizer; excessive lesser yang fire, and pathogenic heat disturbing the heart; spleen⁃stomach disharmo⁃ny failing to function properly. Firstly, Bupleurum Plus Os Draconis and Oyster Shell Decoction can regulate wind and wood. Sec⁃ondly, it can replenish the spleen and stomach and make the central axis work properly. Thirdly, it can astringe and reduce fire and heat, and finally get rid of pathogens. The pathogenesis of palpitation is that the water is cold and the earth is damp. Cold water makes wood unable to grow, while damp earth leads to obstructed middle energizer qi, disorder of ascending and descending qi, and spleen⁃stomach dysfunction. Based on syndrome differentiation model of generation⁃restraint⁃transformation of five zang organs, Modified Bupleurum plus Os Draconis and Oyster Shell Decoction can be used to treat palpitation. If the symptoms of spleen and stomach in middle severe, it is often combined with Modified Pinellia Heart⁃Draining Decoction. For stagnant pathogenic qi and disorder of qi movement, Modified Bupleurum Liver⁃Soothing Powder can be added. For severe phlegm heat, Two Matured Sub⁃stances Decoction can be combined.

摘要:From the end of 2019 to the beginning of 2020, Wuhan experienced the epidemic of COVID-19, and Academician Tong Xiaolin fought against the epidemic for more than 60 days. During this period, he put forward many academic viewpoints and practical plans, which are listed below.1) He identified COVID-19 as "cold-dampness plague" based on the "three-dimensional qualitative" method.2) For the early-stage patients, he formulated the formulas targeting the "cold-dampness plague" (Hanshiyi Formulas for short) by ventilating lung and resolving dampness to cut off the epidemic at an early stage.3) He created the "Wuchang Pattern" to efficiently carry out Hanshiyi Formulas, and shifted the focus of prevention and control to the communities.4) For the patients at the critical stage, he discovered that "stagnant heat entering nutrient-blood" was the key pathogenesis of the exacerbation, and formulated a series of treatment methods.5) For the patients at the convalescent stage, he proposed a clinical strategy of syndrome differentiation and treatment from "deficiency, toxin, and blood stasis", and formulated a general formula for the recovery period accordingly.6) From the perspective of "staging-syndrome differentiation", he divided the "cold-dampness plague" into four stages and 16 syndromes based on the theory of "treating disease before its onset", and established a complete system of differentiation and treatment of "cold-dampness plague".

摘要:Based on the theoretical basis of "Yang transforming into Qi, Yin transforming into shape" , this paper expounds the cognition of this theory, and discusses the relationship between the theory and coronary heart disease in combination with the etiology and pathogenesis of coronary heart disease--"faint pulse at Yang and stringy pulse at Yin" . The imbalance of Yin and Yang, "Yang transforming into Qi" is not enough and "Yin transforming into shape" is too much, which is in accordance with the deficiency of chest Yang and the excess of Yin pathogens. Combining "Yang deficiency" and blood stasis, which is the symptom throughout the whole process, the method of strengthening Yang and activating blood is proposed. This paper explains the connotation of the method and analyzes the clinical application of the theory under the guidance of the theory of "Yang transforming into Qi, Yin transforming into shape" . Strengthening Yang and activating blood, Yang is dominant while Yin is subordinate, and at the same time cares for Yin and fluid. Pay attention to the function of transforming into shape, so as to achieve the relative equilibrium of Yin-Yang.

摘要:Professor CHEN Da-can's clinical experience in the treatment of neurodermatitis was summarized. Professor believes that the disease is closely related to the liver in the early stage, and the treatment focuses on the treatment from the liver. The syndrome of chronic hypertrophy belongs to spleen dampness and blood stasis. "Sanzhu Santeng"is the main method to invigorate the spleen and remove dampness, activate blood circulation, remove blood stasis and dredge collaterals. In clinical medication, we should select the flavor according to the pathogenesis, give full play to the efficacy of the drug, add and subtract flexibly, so as to achieve the purpose of less taste but good effect.
