摘要:Sexual intercourse in dream is also called sexual dream. This disease is not common in clinical gynecology. The ancients believed that the disease was mostly caused by blood loss and sperm loss, weak viscera, and loss of mind. If sexual intercourse in dream occurs during pregnancy, it is likely to cause fetal irritability, even abortion, and miscarriage. Professor WANG Xiuyun treated the disease clinically, and believed that the pathogenesis of the disease was insufficient kidney Yin, heart-kidney imbalance, and lack of fire disturbed the impulse and uterus, causing fetal irritability. Sancai Fengsui Pill (三才封髓丹) is used for symptoms of deficiency of fire and inflammation, loss of essence in dreams, it has the functions of reducing fire and strengthening Yin, consolidating essence and sealing marrow. Professor WANG Xiuyun's clinical application of Sancai Fengsui Pill in the treatment of fetal irritability caused by sexual intercourse in dream, because it has the effect of nourishing kidney and Yin, nourishing heart and calming nerves, and strengthening and relieving fetus. Balance between Yin and Yang, fire and water help each other, sexual intercourse in dream are stopped, and the fetus is in peace.

摘要:ObjectiveTo summarize Professor LU Hao's academic thoughts and clinical experience on treating gall disease.MethodsThrough studying with tutors, thinking and organizing the cases of Professor LU Hao's clinical treatment of gall disease, it systematically elaborated Professor LU Hao's clinical practice and prescription rules from causes, mechanism, symptoms and treatment.ResultsProfessor LU Hao thought that people with gall disease were mostly due to emotional disorder, sweet diet and local factors that caused dampness in the middle and internal heat. The middle-Jiao is weakness in digesting and triple-Jiao Qi movement would be abnormal. Combined with the theory of traditional Chinese medicine, triple-Jiao meridian and the gallbladder meridian are both through the neck, and the core pathogenesis is summarized as "damp-heat resistance, abnormal Qi movement in triple-Jiao", Damp-heat is the cause and Qidisorder is the basis. Phlegm and blood stasis can be the pathological products. Haoqin Qingdan Decoction (蒿芩清胆汤) was selected based on syndrome differentiation and treatment, with emphasis on clearing heat and dampness, dredging Qi movement in triple-Jiao. At the same time, Professor LU Hao emphasizes the combination of disease differentiation and syndrome differentiation, symptoms and pathology, and the formula is flexible and effective.ConclusionProfessor LU Hao has extensive experience on treating gall disease and integrating traditional Chinese medicine, and has unique insights. This paper summed up the experience and attached 2 cases for reference to readers.

摘要:Somatoform pain disorder is a chronic pain condition that cannot be explained by physiological process and has no related organic changes in the pain site. Perimenopausal women is a special group whoch suffer from neuropsychological symptoms and dysfunction of autonomic nervous system. The present medication methods have obvious side effects, while psychological and cognitive therapy is expensive and takes a long time. Traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture therapy is of low acceptance due to the fear of pain. Therefore, it is obliged to find out a safer and more efficient method for the treatment of somatoform pain disorder in perimenopausal women.ObjectiveTo accumulate practical experience of ZHANG's flying needling therapy which has less pain, more safety and more economical efficiency to somatoform pain disorder in perimenopausal women.MethodsProfessor ZHANG Jiawei believes that the imbalance of Yin and Yang and Qi deficiency of spleen, stomach and kidney causekidney deficiency, which is an irreversible pathological mechanism in the perimenopausal period. In the theoretical system of ZHANG's flying needling therapy, it is believed that the disease is located in the brain and related to the heart, liver and spleen. The pathogenesis is that the pain of the body is due to the deficiency of spleen and kidney, deficiency of the sea of marrow, imbalance of Yin and Yang, and stagnation of Qi. ZHANG's flying needling therapy treats somatoform pain disorder by tonifying spleen and kidney, the governor vessel and marrow. In matter of the selection of acupoints, we use Baihui (GV20) which is one of the governor vessel acupointsto mobilize Qi of all meridians, Sishencong (EX-HN1) which is four extra pointsto tranquilize the mind, Shenmen (HT7) which is the Shu-stream point and Yuan-source point of heart meridian of hand-Shaoyin and Pishu (BL20) which is the back-Shu point on the bladder meridian, to strengthen the capability of transformation for water and grain, Shenshu (BL23) which is the back-shu pointon bladder meridian of foot-Taiyang, to reinforce kidney Yang and resist exogenous evil and protect the body. Meanwhile, we also selected other acpoints according to different location of pain and other symptoms. Through a series of unique operating methods such as flying finger Tuina to calm spirit, flying needle to insert, flying needle to be in and out, flying needle to emerge the meridian Qi, flying needle to obtain supplementation or draining, flying to withdraw needle.ResultsThe treatment can regulate the balance of Yin and Yang, govern the spirit while relieving the painand eventually achieve the curative satisfactory. ZHANG's flying needling therapy achieves promising effect in the treatment of somatoform pain disorder in perimenopausal women.ConclusionZHANG's flying needling therapy is an effective treatment and worth of widely clinical application for somatoform pain disorder in perimenopausal women with less pain, more safety and more economical efficiency.

摘要:ZHOU Shenzhai was a famous doctor in the Ming Dynasty, who attached great importance to regulating spleen and stomach. What’s more, he made good use of Baoyuan Decoction (保元汤) to treat internal injuries and miscellaneous diseases. He was so proficient in pulse diagnosis and using traditional Chinese medicine. ZHOU Shenzhai’s students recorded his clinical experience and compiled to a book named The Medical Book of ZHOU Shenzhai, in which Baoyuan Decoction was included. This article discussed this decoction about its historical evolution, component, clinical application and modification from the perspective of ZHOU Shenzhai using Baoyuan Decoction based different diseases and complex syndromes. He thought highly of the therapy of regulating spleen and benefiting vital Qi, and then introducing the therapeutics above flexibly in order to recover the normal physiological Qi of spleen, lung and stomach. This article provided a brand new thought of clinical application of Baoyuan Decoction, which would make a profound influence on inheriting and developing traditional Chinese medicine.

摘要:Scapulohumeral periarthritis corresponds to "Bi syndrome" in traditional Chinese medicine. Patients with this disease suffer a lot, and their daily life is often greatly disturbed, with lowered life quality. Professor Wang Qingguo has rich experience in the treatment of scapulohumeral periarthritis. He believes that scapulohumeral periarthritis is mostly caused by cold evil, and he emphasizes that the cold gathering in the meridians is its core pathogenesis. In clinical practice, Professor Wang often uses the classic prescription Gegen Decoction to treat scapulohumeral periarthritis. It has good results regardless of etiological factors, whether it is caused by exogenous contraction or internal injuries. Professor Wang has formed a unique system of differentiation and treatment, with featured dosages and addition and subtraction. Based on the typical cases of clinical treatment of exogenous scapulohumeral periarthritis and internal injury scapulohumeral periarthritis, this paper introduces the diagnosis and treatment ideas and medication experience of Professor Wang in the treatment of scapulohumeral periarthritis.

摘要:Professor LYU Wenliang believes that the pathogenesis of chronic viral hepatitis B is nothing more than three pathological factors, which are toxin, blood stasis and deficiency. Therefore, the treatment in clinic is often based on this. The first is to attach importance to strengthening the vital energy, and is adapt at using traditional Chinese medicines such as Huangqi (Radix Astragali), Baizhu (Radix Atractylodis Macrocephalae), Shanyao (Yam), Baishao (Radix Paeoniae Alba), Shengdihuang (Radix Rehmanniae), Nuzhenzi (Fructus Ligustri Lucidum) and Mohanlian (Eclipta alba), to invigorate spleen and Qi and nourish liver and kidney, in order to control the deficiency of liver, spleen and kidney. The second is to pay attention to attacking the toxin and relieving the stagnation, and is adapt at using traditional Chinese medicines such as Jiaoshanzha (Crataegi Fructus), Jiaoshenqu (Massa Medicata Fermentata), Jiaomaiya (Hordei Fructus Germinatus), Huangqin (Radix Scutellariae), Huanglian (Rhizoma Coptidis), Huangbai (Cortex Phellodendri), Yinchen (Artemisia capillaris) and Xiongdan (bear bile) powder, to clear away heat and dampness, eliminate phlegm and clear away turbidity, eliminate food stagnation and purge the toxin. The third is to resolve blood stasis and eliminate the mass, and is adapt at using Shanzha (Crataegi Fructus), Chuanxiong (Chuanxiong Rhizoma), Ruxiang (Olibanum), Moyao (Myrrha), Yujin (Curcumae Radix), Yimucao (Leonuri Herba), Yanhusuo (Corydalis Rhizoma), Hongjingtian (Rhodiolae Crenulatae Radix Et Rhizoma), Sanleng (Sparganii Rhizoma), Ezhu (Curcumae Rhizoma), Shuizhi (Hirudo) and Wangbuliuxing (Vaccariae Semen), to activate blood circulation and dredge collaterals and soften and disperse the mass. The righteousness is restored, and then the body is as usual. The evil toxin is removed, and then the body has no worries of infestation. The blood stasis is clear, and then the body has no closed disturbance. Therefore, this article summarized the characteristics of Professor LYU Wenliang's treatment of chronic viral hepatitis B from toxin, blood stasis and deficiency and briefly described his academic experience.

摘要:Heart failure was a complex group of clinical syndromes that led to impaired ventricular filling or impaired ejection ability due to abnormal heart structure or function. It was a serious and end stage of various heart diseases. The end stage of heart failure could be accompanied by three branches of coronary heart disease, renal failure, gastrointestinal bleeding and other modern medical treatments for difficult diseases. The treatment of heart failure with traditional Chinese medicine could significantly improve the symptoms of heart failure, reduce rehospitalization rates and improve the survival rates. Danggui Sini Decoction (当归四逆汤) is derived from Treatise on Febrile and Miscellaneous Diseases. After using Danggui Sini Decoction to treat patients with end - stage heart failure combined with many treatments for thorny diseases, the patients' heart failure symptoms and indicators had been significantly improved. Combined with modern literature pharmacological research, it proved the advantages of classical prescriptions treating end - stage heart failure with many diseases. Taking Danggui Sini Decoction for the treatment of patients with end - stage heart failure as an example, according to the clinical evolution of heart failure, the mechanism of heart failure and the principles of heart failure treatment were explained from the perspective of the six meridians, providing a certain reference for the progress of clinical prevention and treatment of heart failure.

摘要:Parkinson's disease belongs to the neurodegenerative disease of the nervous system, and has not only motor symptoms such as bradykinesia, tremors and myotonia, but also non-motor symptoms such as sleep disorders, mental disorders, autonomic nervous dysfunction and sensory disorders. The trembling symptom is consistent with the core symptom of Parkinson's disease. The main pathogenesis of Parkinson's disease is unsmooth flow of gallbladder qi and Sanjiao stagnation. It has been found in clinical practice that Chaihu Jia Longgu Muli Decoction (Bupleuri Radix plus Longgu Muli Decoction) can improve the symptoms of patients with Parkinson's disease, with remarkable effect.

摘要:Insomnia is a common clinical disease, its core pathogenesis is the imbalance between Yin and Yang, Yang could not enter Yin, and the inducing factors are numerous and complicated, which involve emotion, diet, fatigue, long illness etc. The treatment methods involved in clinical syndrome differentiation treatment are also abundant. In the relevant records of Treatise on Febrile Diseases, there were many articles about the expression of insomnia, which were almost carried out throughout the six meridians. In this paper, Shaoyin disease would be considered as a breakthrough point, we focused on the different states of "Yang Qi" in the course of shaoyin disease, and summed up the essential pathogenesis of "Yang failure" "Yin deficiency" "Yang stagnation" , through which could we discuss the main syndromes and related treatment principles of insomnia.

摘要:The pathogenesis of Crohn's disease is not clear, its clinical manifestations are diverse, but there are individual differences. With the deepening research of Crohn's disease, the superiority of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of this disease hasbeen constantly reflected and verified. Professor Wang Aihua, an eminent doctor of traditional Chinese Medicine in Hunan Province, believes that weakness of spleen-qi is the root cause of Crohn's disease, combination of damp-heat, blood stagnation and toxin is thepathological factor, intestinal ulcer is a local pathological manifestation, long course of disease harms kidney, which leads to the deficiency of spleen and kidney. Therefore, Professor Wang Aihua suggests that strengthening the spleen and promoting the stomach circulation is the foundation of treatment, supplemented by clearing away heat and dampness, regulating qi and blood. Only in this waycan the symptoms of patients be relieved and the quality of life be improved.

摘要:Testicular microlithiasis is a relatively rare disease in clinical practice. At present, there is no unified opinion on the pathogenesis and treatment of testicular microlithiasis in modern medicine.Professor Li Haisong, based on traditional Chinese medicine theory, proposes the pathogenesis theory of "micro-accumulation" of testicular microlithiasis and believes that testicular microlithiasis belongs to the category of "accumulation" in the traditional medicine.Although there are no visible "accumulation" with the naked eye, with the help of modern diagnosis and treatment methods, such as ultrasound, light microscopy, electron microscopy, etc.,can be observed to distribute the tiny stones. Thus, testicular microlithiasis belongs to the category of "micro-accumulation" . Deficiency of the kidney, blood stasis and phlegm are the basic pathogenesis of "micro-accumulation" of testis,in which deficiency of the kidney is the root cause and phlegm and blood stasis are the manifestations. In terms of treatment,it suggests that benefitting the kidney should be gentle and the medication should be light.Do not wrongly use heavy agents to cause yang heat to turn into fire and hinder sperm motility. At the same time,it also pays attention on eliminating accumulation and dispersing mass, eliminating phlegm and softening hardness. It has achieved certain curative effect in clinical practice and is worth popularizing.

摘要:This paper summarized professor ZHANG Zhiyuan's experience in using Chaihu (Radix Bupleuri). Based on the knowledge he has learnt from the literature of doctors in past dynasties, as well as the experience he has accumulated in the clinical practice, professor ZHANG Zhiyuan makes his own understanding of Chihu in terms of medicinal nature, function and selection. Accordingly, he puts forward the "ascending and descending theory", "heat clearing and cooling theory" and "herbal selection theory". He also gives full play to the application of classical prescriptions including Xiaochaihu Decoction (小柴胡汤) and Sini San (四逆散), and emphasizes the modification of dosage and the combination of medicinals.

摘要:ObjectiveTo observe the clinical effect of acupuncture on postprandial distress syndrome(PDS)with spleen-stomach qi deficiency.MethodsA retrospective analysis was conducted in 108 eligible PDS patients, with 55 cases in the acupuncture group and 53 cases in the sham acupuncture group. The patients in the acupuncture group were treated by acupuncture at Baihui(DU20), Danzhong(RN17), Zhongwan(RN12), Qihai(RN6), Tianshu(ST25), Neiguan(PC6), Zusanli(ST36), Gongsun(SP4)and Taibai(SP3). A superficial skin penetration at non-acupoints was performed in the sham acupuncture group. The patients in both groups were treated for 3 sessions(20 minutes per ses-sion)per week for 4 weeks, and were followed up 12 weeks after the last session. The changes of Symptom Index of Dyspepsia(SID), Nepean dyspepsia index(NDI)and Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale(HADS)scores were compared between the two groups after the last session and 12 weeks after the treatment, so as to evaluate the efficacy and safety.ResultsAfter 4 weeks of treatment, the effective rate of the acupuncture group was 72.7%, higher than 45.3% of the sham acupuncture group(P<0.05), and the descender of SID and NDI scores of the acupuncture group were greater than those of the sham acupuncture group(P<0.05)and lasted for 12 weeks after treatment(P<0.05). After 4 weeks of treatment, the descender of HADS score in the acupuncture group was greater than that of the sham group(P<0.05), but there was no significant difference between the two groups during follow-up period. No serious adverse events were reported during the study period.ConclusionAmong PDS patients with spleen-stomach qi deficiency, acupuncture could reduce the symptoms of indigestion, improve the quality of life, with sustained efficacy over 12 weeks in patients who have received acupuncture treatment for 4 weeks, three times each week. Acupuncture seems to alleviate the patient's anxious and depressive emotions, but this effect does persist when the treatmentends.

The disease has not only deficiency syndrome but also excess syndrome, and deficiency-excess in complexity are more common. This is why the disease is hard to be cured and has long course. According to clinical experience, Professor SONG divides the disease into four types: exterior deficiency and wind-cold syndrome, exterior deficiency and wind-heat syndrome, blood heat and wind excess syndrome, dampness-heat with wind syndrome. The above four syndromes are treated by the following prescriptions respectively: Yupingfeng Powder (玉屏风散) combined with Guizhi Decoction (桂枝汤), Gubiao Qingre Qufeng Decoction (固表清热祛风汤), Compound Baixianpi Decoction (复方白鲜皮汤), and Longdan Xiegan Decoction (龙胆泻肝汤). He also attaches importance to diagnosis and treatment by integrated Chinese and western medicine, and modifies the prescriptions by reference of the pharmacological research results. One successful case is listed.

摘要:Professor CHEN Xiaoning believes that vocal cord leukoplakia is mostly caused by mutual accumulation of phlegm and blood stasis, disharmony of liver and stomach, and qi deficiency and phlegm dampness. Therefore, he uses the following methods in treating the disease: resolving phlegm and eliminating blood stasis, dissipating mass and easing voice, descending adverse qi and harmonizing stomach, benefiting stomach and resolving phlegm, etc.Self-made Huatan Kaiyin Formula(化痰开音方), Shugan Hewei Decoction(疏肝和胃汤), and Buzhong Yiqi Decoction(补中益气汤) combined with Sijunzi Decoction(四君子汤) are the commonly used prescriptions. In choosing drugs, botanical drugs are preferred because its light property helps to reach the lesions of the throat, while fierce drugs with severe bitterness and cold are avoid for consolidating spleen and stomach. With flexible diagnosis and treatment based on syndrome differentiation, Professor CHEN stresses the importance of refined prescriptions, mild drugs, small dosage, and postoperative care, which has achieved good curative efficacy.

摘要:This paper introduces the clinical experience of Professor JIA Liujin in the treatment of thrombocytopenia. Professor JIA Liujin bases on the deficiency of both spleen and kidney, deficiency of qi and blood, the main pathogenesis of pathogenic heat forcing blood to act falsely. It is considered that the blood separated from the meridian must leave blood stasis, that is, "heat, deficiency and blood stasis" is the starting point for the treatment of immune thrombocytopenia. It is proposed to strengthen body resistance and eliminate pathogenic factors, and to treat children's immune thrombocytopenia by clearing away the remaining pathogenic factors, enriching blood and nourishing blood, and promoting blood circulation and stopping bleeding, with remarkable curative effect.

摘要:Syringomyelia is a chronic and progressive myelopathy, whose etiology and pathogenesis are still unclear. At present, its symptoms are primarily treated by using vitamin B, coenzyme A, analgesics, etc., or given a comprehensive treatment based on surgery in western medicine, but there still exist many drawbacks. Based on years of clinical experience and research results, Academician Tong Xiaolin mostly treats syringomyelia (syringomyelia deficiency syndrome) with Tongshi Yisui Qiwei Decoction, with benefiting the marrow and invigorating the mind as its basic therapeutic principle, with pilose antler powder, fresh bovine spinal marrow powder and milkvetch root powder as the common couplet medicines, supplemented wtih Jinkui Shenqi Pills or Dihuang Yinzi at the same time. The treatment method proves to be effective in clinic.

摘要:Professor Mao De-xi believes that the disorder of qi movement of the spleen and stomach is the fundamental cause of spleen-stomach diseases. Stagnation of liver qi can directly affect the functions of the spleen and stomach. Spleen-stomach diseases are mostly related to dampness pathogen, and dampness pathogen stagnation makes the function of the spleen and stomach in disharmony. Professor Mao treats spleen-stomach diseases with method of"using medicinals in small dose and of light nature", pays attention to the application of aromatics, and draining dampness with bland diuretics. In clinical practice, he emphasizes tongue diagnosis. When the fur is thick and greasy, he often uses fragrant and light clear products to remove turbid qi and activate spleen qi, so Agastache Three-Ingredient Beverage is adopted to invigorate the spleen, remove dampness, and harmonize the spleen and stomach. The common aromatics for regulating qi include: "four flowers"[Houpohua (Flos Magnoliae Officinalis), Foshouhua (Flos Citri Sarcodactylis), Baibiandouhua (Semen Lablab Album) and Daidaihua (Flos Citri Aurantii Amarae)], "three nuds"[Maiya (Fructus Hordei Germinatus), Guya (Fructus Setariae Germinatus) and Daoya (Fructus Oryzae Germinatus)], Baidoukou (Fructus Amomi Kravanh), Dingxiang (Flos Caryophylli), Baizhi (Radix Angelicae Dahuricae), Muxiang (Radix Aucklandiae), Chenpi (Pericarpium Citri Reticulatae) and Houpo (Cortex Magnoliae Officinalis). In addition, Professor Mao also uses Fuling (Poria), Dongguapi (Exocarpium Benincasae), Heye (Folium Nelumbinis), Yiyiren (Semen Coicis), Chixiaodou (Semen Phaseoli), Siguapi (loofah rind), etc. to drain and resolve dampness pathogen.

摘要:Professor Liu Jian believes that the pathogenesis of acute myelitis is deficiency of the body and internal injury attacked by external pathogens passing through the meridians and straight to the lesser yin meridian, resulting in disease involving both exterior and interior, the loss of genuine yang, forming a pathological state of "the greater yang meridian and lesser yin meridian infection".Neurogenic bladder is characterized by body deficiency and external pathogen attack, or excessive cold enclosed in the bladder of the greater yang meridian. In addition, kidney yang of the lesser yin meridian is deficient. As a result, the greater yang meridian and lesser yin meridian are infected at the same time, with obstruction of meridian qi, weakness of bladder qi transformation, and dysfunction of water channels, resulting in bladder fluid retention syndrome.Based on the above pathogenesis, Professor Liu often uses some classical formulas such as Ephedra and Aconite and Asarum Decoction, True Warrior Decoction, Five Substances Powder with Poria, etc.and has always achieved good effects.Ephedra and Aconite and Asarum Decoction can warm the meridians and disperse cold, help yang to open the exterior and dispel external pathogens, and connect exterior with interior.True Warrior Decoction can warm kidney yang and restrict cold fluid, tonify yang and consolidate foundation warm the heart and spleen.Five Substances Powder with Poria can activate yang to transform qi, promote bladder transformation and restore urination and water circulation function. At the same time, he pays attention to distinguish the priorities. If yang is weak and tends to collapse, he often gives first aid to treating interior syndrom.Even if there is evidence on the surface, he never uses sweating. When the cause of the disease is removed and the condition is stable, he uses Dangshen(Radix Codonopsis), Huangqi(Radix Astragali), Shanyao(Rhizoma Dioscoreae), Shanyurou(Fructus Corni), Yiyiren(Semen Coicis), Wuweizi(Fructus Schisandrae Chinensis), etc.to warm the spleen and kidney, replenish qi and consolidate the foundation.

摘要:Abnormal lipid metabolism is a common complication of rheumatoid arthritis, which is a significant risk factor for cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. It has a high morbidity and it is hard to be diagnosed. It may be related to the long-term use of antirheumatic drugs, lack of exercise and inflammatory activity of rheumatoid arthritis. The two diseases influence each other and affect the life quality of patients seriously.Rheumatoid arthritis with abnormal lipid metabolism is closely related to phlegm and blood stasis.Phlegm and blood stasis are not only pathological products throughout the whole course of the disease, but also pathological factors for the disease.Phlegm and blood stasis are all slightly transformed from cereal essence, regulated by Qi, and related to the disharmony of Ying and Wei.Professor Cao Wei believes that the discord between Ying and Wei, the accumulation of phlegm and blood stasis are the pathological basis of the disease. In clinical practice, we paid attention to the treatment principle of “remove the phlegm and blood stasis simultaneously“ and the characteristics of physical changes of contemporary people. Some principles were important in clinical practice, which include expelling phlegm and removing blood stasis, clearing heat and dampness, dispelling wind and dredging collaterals, dredging qi-activity and nourishing kidney and spleen. The treatment effect was proved.

摘要:Traditional Chinese medicine is the main means of treating acute eczema.Based on the Qi-blood theory and inspired by the medical case of YE Tian-shi, NIU Yang considers that the etiology is diet and climate factors and the pathogenesis is “Qi and blood stagnation“ caused by the accumulation of wind, dampness, heat and toxin. It is showed of blocking of wind-dampness-heat in San Jiao and stagnation of dampness-heat-toxin in blood. The “Primary“ is Qi-blood stagnation and Yin-Yang imbalance, the “Secondary“ is blocking of wind, dampness, heat, toxin, blood stasis and dryness on skin. Therefore, eliminating pathogenic factors is the main treatment, such as dispelling wind and eliminating dampness, clearing away heat and detoxifying, and being supplemented by the method of dispersing and moving Qi and blood, which focuses on regulating Qi and treating Qi-blood together. The purpose of regulating Qi is to activate Yang, ventilate lung and move Qi activity of San Jiao through using the pungent-warm-divergent and light-bitter-little-pungent drugs.Treating blood is aimed at clearing and removing dampness-heat-toxin in blood by using drugs such as warm-pungent, cooling blood and dispersing blood stasis, smoothening secretion.Characteristics of prescription compatibility is dryness and moistening, cold and warm, hardness and softness, so that the balance of Qi and blood will result in the harmony of Yin and Yang, and the disease will be cured without concealment of pathogenic factor.

摘要:Professor Zhou Yabin adheres to the comprehensive analysis to both pulse manifestations and syndromes in the treatment of heart diseases, and makes good use of the theory of qi and blood, taking the smooth circulation of qi and blood as the primary objective. He pays attention to the theory of blood stasis, aiming to eliminate it yet not damaging the vital qi. He focuses on regulating the spleen and kidney and caring for the vital qi. He bases his treatment of heart diseases on syndrome differentiation, learning from the previous experience and flexibly modifying it but not limited by it. He mainly uses classical prescriptions and supplements them with non-classical ones, good at addressing the root cause while taking into account the manifestations at the same time. He is adept at choosing the more reasonable methods by examining the pathogenesis of diseases and making flexible adjustments with rigorous prescriptions, achieving remarkable effects immediately. The article selects some of Professor Zhou's effective cases of treating heart diseases, revealing his clinical ideas and medication rules for the treatment of coronary heart disease, rheumatic heart disease and arrhythmia by using those classical prescriptions and non-classical ones, which is worthy of clinical reference.
