        摘要："Combination of state and target" is the syndrome differentiation strategy proposed by Academician TONG Xiaolin, that is, learning from the changes of physiology and pathology in modern medicine, clarifying the evolution trend of the disease according to traditional Chinese medicine thinkin g, comprehensively mastering the disease and summarizing the core pathogenesis, so as to determine the prescription of "state adjustment" , and applying "target medicine" to strengthen targeted treatment for the disease in combination with modern pharmaceutical research, so as to achieve the purpose of giving consideration to both specimens and symptoms.Academician TONG Xiaolin summed up the common state of various types of diabetic retinopathy with Qi deficiency, blood stasis in collaterals, and made use of the "combination of state and target" strategy to create a prescription for regulating Qi and warming Yang and dredging collaterals.On the basis of modulation, the target drugs were selected according to the physical and chemical indexes and fundus characteristics of the disease, and good results were obtained in clinical practice.

        摘要：Professor LI Qiangou, a famous physician in the capital, studied with Mr. GUAN Youbo, a famous physician in the capital. He has engaged in TCM clinical work for more than 60 years and put forward the theory of ten-class differentiation and medicine-food homology. He was good at the treatment of oral cavity, spleen and stomach, liver and miscellaneous diseases. Professor LI Qiangou has rich experience and unique opinions in the treatment of spleen and stomach diseases. He attaches importance to the sufficiency of healthy Qi and the enrichment of the spleen and stomach. He is good at treating spleen and stomach diseases from the theory of Qi depression and blood stasis. The stomach is an organ with more Qi and blood. All diseases are born in Qi, and long-term diseases enter the collaterals. Professor LI advocates the combination of disease differentiation and syndrome differentiation in treatment, emphasizes supplementing Qi and strengthening the spleen, and at the same time, he is equipped with drugs for promoting Qi and activating blood circulation on the basis of Sijunzi Decoction (四君子汤), better improve the clinical efficacy. In terms of nursing care, we pay attention to saving diet and unblocking emotions, and emphasize the overall concept of traditional Chinese medicine and syndrome differentiation and treatment.

        摘要：On the basis of previous experience and years of clinical and scientific research experience, Professor MAO Dewen summed up the new theory of "toxin-turbid causing liver failure" , and believed that "toxin" was the cause of the disease, "turbid" was the pathological product, and "Yang deficiency" was the root of the disease.The interaction of "toxin" , "turbid" and "deficiency" and the stagnation of the three ultimately lead to the onset and development of liver failure, highly revealing the nature of the disease.It summarizes the three treatment principles of "truncation reversal" , "supporting Yang and cultivating the soil" and "dredging Fu organs and opening orifices" , and refines the "truncation reversal" treatment scheme of traditional Chinese medicine/integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine dominated by Jiedu Huayu Granule(解毒化瘀颗粒)for acute(subacute)liver failure and chronic and acute liver failure, the traditional Chinese medicine/integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment scheme represented by Yinchen Zhufu Decoction(茵陈术附汤)for chronic liver failure with the "supporting Yang and cultivating the soil" method, and the traditional Chinese medicine treatment scheme centered on Jiedu Huayu Granule(解毒化瘀颗粒)combined with external Rhubarb decoction enema for hepatic encephalopathy with the "dredging Fu organs and opening orifices" method.The clinical application shows that the scheme has good clinical effect.

Professor Ruan has explored and refined effective empirical prescriptions for the basic pathogenesis and leading pathogenesis of specialized diseases based on the classic ancient prescription method and on the basis of predecessors and his own clinical experience. To introduce Professor Ruan's corresponding experience prescriptions for treating purpura kidney, diabetic nephropathy, gout kidney, and lupus kidney, and attaches medical records to prove its effect.

        摘要：Chronic non-communicable diseases (chronic diseases) of unknown etiology or multiple causes are the majority of the modern diseases, which bring a heavy social and economic burden. Academician TONG Xiaolin advocates that the prevention and treatment of chronic diseases should return to the most basic and simplest state of the unity of heaven and humankind, and fundamentally adhere to the principle of "treating complexity with simplicity" . Based on the four basic elements that nature has endowed human beings with, namely sunshine, water, air and nutrition, together with the natural laws of life being old and deficient, he outlines "ten states of chronic diseases" , which include cold state, hot state, dry state, wet state, constraint state, stasis state, barren state, congestion state, old state, and deficiency state. Based on clinical practice, the prevention and treatment strategy in relation to "ten states of chronic diseases" is summarized, that is, after the "state" is recognized and differentiated, corresponding statemodulating formula is prescribed, and symptom-target and indicator-target drugs are supplemented. This strategy combines the macro-level "state modulation" and micro-level "target treatment" in diagnosing and treating chronic diseases, which is a provoke-thinking exploration and can provide references for prevention and treatment of chronic diseases with traditional Chinese medicine in the context of modern medicine.

        摘要：A series of early metabolic disorders such as obesity, hyperinsulinemia, and impaired glucose tolerance promote the occurrence and development of chronic metabolic diseases. Improper diet, eating too much food with the greasy, sweet and surfeit flavours can lead to flatulence, which can cause dampness over time, and the dampness pathogen will further affect the normal transportation function of the spleen. Academician Tong Xiaolin believes that the key point of the syndrome differentiation and treatment of such diseases is to pay close attention to the main contradictions of "congestion, stagnation and depression" in their initial stage, and to take into account the three major treatment principles of eliminating dampness, promoting qi movement and invigorating the spleen. He uses a basic prescription for the treatment of chronic metabolic diseases, which comprises the ingredients of atractylodes rhizome, officinal magnolia bark and dried tangerine peel. While the three medicines function together to eliminate dampness, atractylodes rhizome is good at invigorating the spleen, and officinal magnolia bark has the power of promoting qi movement and relieving flatulence, while dried tangerine peel is good at regulating qi-flowing and eliminating phlegm. The combination of the three drugs can meet the purpose of eliminating the spleen dampness and promote the spleen transportation function. The common clinical dosage ranges of them are 9-30 g，15-30 g and 9-15 g respectively.

        摘要：In the early stage of diabetes, most of the patients have the habit of eating too much food with the greasy, sweet and surfeit flavours, leading to the syndrome of gastrointestinal stagnated heat in the spleen and stomach, which is mostly manifested as the syndrome of excessive heat in the middle jiao. Therefore, Academician Tong Xiaolin believes that the core pathogenesis of diabetes in its early and middle stages is the flatulence and endogenous heat, mainly in a heat state, with the gastrointestinal excessive heat as its chief syndrome, with dry mouth, bitter taste in mouth, halitosis and dry stool as its symptom targets, and with the increase in blood glucose as its index target, with purging heat and relieving flatulence, promoting qi-flowing and activating pancreas as its primary treatment method. He makes a minor experiential prescription Tongcui Yin for the treatment of diabetes mellitus, which is composed of raw rhubarb root and rhizome, golden thread and areca seed. Simple as the minor prescription is, it is rather effective in regulating the disease state and target simultaneously. In the prescription, raw rhubarb root and rhizome is the main medicine for purging heat, removing stagnation and clearing the organs, with a common clinical dosage of 3-15 g. Golden thread, with the most bitter taste and cold nature, is good at clearing the stagnated heat in the middle jiao, and is also an effective hypoglycemic target drug, with a common clinical dosage of 15-30 g. Areca seed can promote qi movement and relieve food retention, with a common clinical dosage of 6-15 g.

        摘要：Professor Zheng Yu-ling believes that lung-cancer chest pain is mostly based on deficiency of healthy qi and insufficient lung qi. Pathogenic qi invades and hides in the lung collaterals, which cannot be dissipated due to deficiency, and lung collaterals are then damaged. It is a syndrome of deficient root cause and excessive manifestations. Professor Zheng often uses Ginseng Toxin-Resolving Powder to treat it by supplementing qi and dredging collaterals as the principle and regarding qi deficiency dredging collaterals as the key points of syndrome differentiation, and has always achieved good efficacy. In addition, she believes that malignant tumors are chronic consumptive diseases, which will consume healthy qi for a long time. The spleen and stomach provide the material basis of the acquired constitution and the source of qi-blood formation, so in clinical practice, she always adopts proper drugs for protecting stomach qi, pays special attention to the dietary adjustment of patients, strengthening healthy qi and removing pathogens, and mainly protects the healthy qi of patients. At the same time, Professor Zheng believes that when treating tumors with TCM, we should adhere to TCM thinking, concept holism and syndrome differentiation and treatment. It is also necessary to constantly absorb the new achievements, new technologies and new methods of Western medicine research, and advocate integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine and have complementary advantages.

        摘要：Yan Jun, chief physician, believes that the treatment of unexplained fever by syndrome differentiation and stages should be based on time, place and personal conditions. Through harmonizing lesser yang meridian, it should be treated in three stages: regulating qi movement; strengthening healthy qi to eliminate pathogenic factors; nourishing yin and clearing heat. According to Doctor Yan, in the early stage, we should pay attention to regulating qi movement, not only regulating qi movement of the whole body, but also regulating qi movement of"the lung"and"spleen-stomach"axis. Therefore, Minor Bupleurum Decoction, Free Wanderer Powder, etc.can be used to disperse qi movement of lesser yang meridian; Minor Green Dragon Decoction can be used to remove phlegm stagnation and dredge qi movement of the lung; Six Gentlemen Decoction can be used to regulate qi movement of the spleen and stomach. In the early stage, we should pay attention to strengthening healthy qi to eliminate pathogenic factors. Therefore, Center-Supplementing and Qi-Boosting Decoction, Sweet Wormwood and Turtle Shell Decoction can be used. In the later stage, we should pay attention to nourishing yin and supplement kidney water to reduce the deficiency fire caused by in deficiency with effulgent fire. Therefore, Pulse-Engendering Powder, Radix Adenophorae seu Glehniae and Radix Ophiopogonis Decoction, Metal Water Six Gentlemen Decoction, Effective Integration Decoction, etc.can be used. In addition, Doctor Yan often uses Baiwei (Radix et Rhizoma Cynanchi Atrati) and Yuzhu (Rhizoma Polygonati Odorati) to nourish yin and clear remaining heat.

        摘要：Professor Zhang Jin-feng believes that kidney yin deficiency is the origin of recurrent abortion, while blood stasis and liver depression are the manifestations. So he has created a three-step ladder therapy of"clearing", "seeding"and"stabilizing"and treated it by stages. "Clearing"means clearing the uterus and pre-culturing its damage. The treatment starts with regulating immunity and eliminating inflammatory infection. The self-made experience formula, Decoction for Inhibiting Hyperactivity and Helping Pregnancy is often used. "Seeding"means nourishing yin and yang, regulating menstruation for pregnancy. In the clinical treatment, the formula should be selected according to the menstrual cycle. The blood chamber during menstruation is open, and"treating incontinent syndrome with dredging method"should be adopted, so Menstruation-Regulating Powder can be used to promote blood circulation and drive qi movement. In postmenstrual period, the uterus is empty and the uterus stores up essence without discharge. No. 1 Formula for Helping Pregnancy is selected to tonify the kidney arrest emission, and promote the development of follicles. During menstrual interval period, it is the dense period of yin transforming into to yang. The treatment principle is to nourish yin and yang, tonify the kidney and activate blood circulation.         摘要：Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia is one of the common community acquired pneumonia. Its incidence rate and recurrence rate increase with the increase of its resistance rate to the first choice. Professor Wang Chengxi believes that the disease is mostly caused by exogenous pathogens attacking the lung, entering the interior to turn heat, burning the lung gold, resulting in obstruction of the lung collaterals, phlegm heat and blood stasis being closed inside. The treatment is mainly Zhiyan mixture, combined with syndrome differentiation treatment, playing the function of clearing heat, resolving phlegm and detoxification, promoting lung opening, closing and unblocking collaterals.

        摘要：Intractable insomnia can not be cured for a long time.Its root lies in the internal wind disturbing the heart-mind, that is, the so-called "wind relating to spirit". Intractable insomnia occurs repeatedly, the condition changes rapidly, and the functions of yin and yang, qi and blood and zang-fu viscera lose balance.Therefore, the wind that disturbs the heart-mind is mostly the internal wind.In the treatment of intractable insomnia, Professor Zhang Xiaoke closely focused on the key pathogenesis of ＂wind relating to spirit＂, focusing on the application of methods of extinguish wind for tranquillization, nourishing yin and reducing fire, and prepared Sansan Anshen mixture[(Dihuang(Rehmannia glutinosa) 40 g, Jianghuang(Rhizoma Curcumae Longae) 20 g, Tianzhuhuang(Geranium) 15 g, Yanhusuo(Rhizoma Corydalis) 30 g, Shanyurou(Cornus officinalis) 30 g, Baihe(Lily) 30 g) ]to nourish yin and reduce fire.Professor Zhang Xiaoke skillfully used rattan wind medicine to extinguish wind for tranquillization, add and sub-tract with the syndrome, and the clinical effect is remarkable.

        摘要：Hyperprolactinemia(HPRL)is one of the diseases leading to anovulatory infertility, which is a refractory gynecological disease and seriously affects female reproductive function.Professor MA Kun has summarized his experience in clinical and scientific studies for many years.And believes that kidney deficiency is the pathogenesis of HPRL and blood stasis is the dominant pathological manifestation of HPRL and can promote the progress of the disease.In view of this, Professor MA Kun took the therapy of kidney-tonifying and blood-activating as the principle for treating anovulatory infertility caused by HPRL, with soothing the liver and promoting Qi as adjuvant therapies.She has also summarized and refined the prescriptions for tonifying kidney and inducing ovulation, which have a remarkable clinical efficacy.
