摘要:As a common disease of the digestive system, chronic gastritis has highincidence, refractory conditionand recurrent attacks, which seriously affects the quality of life of patients, and has attracted more and more clinical attention.Professor TONG Xiaolin proposes the strategy of'state-target-cause-prognosis’.The treatment is based on the combination of state and stage. With'state’as the general direction of treatment, and'target’at the same time, the strategy has wide coverage and multiple targets for diseases, symptoms and clinical indicators.Chronic gastritis with spleen deficiency, dampness and blood stasis is caused by Helicobacter pylori infection, with thinning of gastric mucosa, edemaand bleeding(deficiency, dampness, blood stasis)as the result. The target formulaHuangqi Jianzhong Decoction(黄芪建中汤)adjusts'state’with the method of warming minor center and strengthening spleen, harmonizing stomach and relieving pain and resuming the operation of minor center cardinal. The the method of killing Helicobacter pylori, inhibiting gastric acid secretion and protecting the gastric mucosa.

摘要:Moderate-to-severe fatty liver is a common metabolic disease in clinic. Academician Tong Xiaolin believes that this disease is mostly caused by the fat and turbidity accumulated in bodies owing to patients’ long-term addiction to fat, sweets and food in strong fl avour, which is most likely to a ff ect the normal transportation of spleen and stomach, leading to food essence accumulation and creating pathological fat and turbidity. Clinical manifestations in patients with moderate-to-severe fatty liver are often loss of appetite, fatigue, nausea and vomiting. Professor Tong Xiaolin proposes that a minor prescription, composed of virgate wormwood herb, hongqu and unprocessed rhubarb root, can resolve fat and regulate lipid, clear the viscera and descend turbidity. The prescription can treat liver dysfunction in patients with moderate-to-severe fatty liver and alleviate visceral fat accumulation, achieving the e ff ect of improving the conditions of fatty liver. The common dosage of virgate wormwood herb is 15-45 g, that of hongqu 15-30 g, and unprocessed rhubarb root 9-15 g.

摘要:Academician Tong Xiaolin believes that intestinal metaplasia of gastric mucosa is a precancerous lesion, which should be paid more attention to and whose treatment is of great signi fi cance. Intestinal metaplasia of dampnessheat stagnation type, one of its common types, is often caused by disharmony of diet, long-term excessive intake of fatty diet with rich fl avour, which in turn generates dampness and heat over time and accumulates them in spleen and stomach. It can also be caused by feeling the obstruction of dampness and heat in the middle jiao. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that stomach prefers moisture to dryness. According to Academician Tong Xiaolin, the key points of treatment are as follows: fi rst, improve the humid and hot environment in the stomach, improve the survival state of the mucosa and make it moisturized; second, protect the digestive tract mucosa in addition to the gastric mucosa;third, continue to look for speci fi c drugs for a certain target. In clinical practice, Academician Tong Xiaolin often uses dandelion, hedyotis, asiatic cornelian cherry fruit to make up a minor basic prescription to treat this disease. Dandelion and hedyotis are used for clearing stomach heat, resolving toxins and removing dampness, thus cutting o ff the origin of pathogenic factors. The two medicines are both sweet and cool, which can dry dampness without damaging stomach yin. Asiatic cornelian cherry fruit is an empirical medicine for the treatment of intestinal metaplasia. The common dosage of the three medicines is 15-30 g, 9-15 g and 9-30 g respectively.

摘要:Indian bread, unprocessed largehead atractylodes rhizome and oriental waterplantain rhizome are three medicines commonly used in clinical practice by Professor Tong Xiaolin to make up a minor prescription for eliminating spleen dampness. Professor Tong Xiaolin believes that the basic pathogenesis of many diseases today is dampness stagnancy due to spleen deficiency. Indian bread can be used for promoting urination and diffusing dampness, and the usual dose is 9-120 g. Raw largehead atractylodes rhizome can invigorate spleen and dry dampness, and its usual dose is 9-90 g. Oriental waterplantain rhizome can excrete dampness and resolve turbidity, with the usual dose 15-30 g. This minor prescription can be used in treating metabolic diseases, endocrine system diseases, digestive system diseases and other diseases, all with syndromes of spleen dampness.

摘要:Chaihu Plus Longgu Muli Decoction is (柴胡加龙骨牡蛎汤) derived from ZHANG Zhongjing's Treatise on Febrile Diseases, which is commonly used in clinical practice. It has the effects of reconciling Shaoyang and promoting Yang and pathogenic heat. Professor HUANG Shi, the tutor, believed that many diseases were caused by the disorder of Qi. Therefore, he advocated the use of Qi-regulating mechanism in the treatment of diseases. Chaihu Plus Longgu Muli Decoction was often used as the basic prescription. Through the analysis of 4 cases of cerebral infarction, dysphoria, insomnia and irritable bowel syndrome treated by the tutor, it was found that although the above cases had different diseases and symptoms, they were treated with the same treatment. Therefore, on the whole, we should adjustYin and Yang of Zang-Fu organs, Qi, blood and Yin. Therefore, with the treatment of symptoms and signs, the curative effect is remarkable.

摘要:Aconite is pungent and warm in nature, attributive to the Heart, Spleen and Kidney Meridians. It has the functions of regaining yang and relieving adversity, replenishing fire and assisting yang, dispelling cold and dampness, warming meridians and relieving pain. Professor Wang Qingguo inherited Zhang Zhongjing’s ideas and experience in medication and used aconite during clinical treatment. This paper introduces Professor Wang’s experience in the clinical use of Aconite from the following three aspects: rescuing the adversity with a large dose of aconite, enhancing the effect of aconite through reasonable compatibility, using aconite as soon as possible when replenishing fire and assisting yang. Combined with two cases of acne and Sjogren’s syndrome, this paper introduces the specific methods of Professor Wang to expand the use of aconite.

摘要:Huang Yuanyu established the theory of "general circulation of unitary qi" in his work Heart Origin of Four Saints. One of the theory's main ideas states: "wood and fire ascend and dredge on the left, metal and water descend and astringe on the right, while earth mediates in middle jiao". Based on this theory, he maintains that the treatment principle of sweat syndrome is regulating spleen and stomach and regulating the four dimensions, so as to restore the functions of various viscera and form a normal state of "general circulation of unitary qi". At the same time, he focuses on regulating qi movement, so as to provide power for "general circulation of unitary qi".

摘要:At present, no effective radical drugs are available for gout and hyperuricemia. Some patients with gout suffer from insufficient vital qi and accumulated turbidity in the body, leading to the onset of the disease. Therefore, it is assumed that de fi ciency of spleen and kidney and accumulation of dampness and turbidity are one of the pathogenesis of gout. Gout is proposed to be treated by tonifying kidney and invigorating spleen, removing dampness and resolving turbidity, so as to ascend clear and descend turbidity, and restore the body's normal qi transformation function. Gout treatment should be focused on TCM concepts of holism and treatment based on syndrome di ff erentiation. The theoretical basis of the treatment of gout with Shengqing Jiangzhuo method (method of ascending clear and descending turbidity) is discussed, and its clinical applications are presented in the article.

摘要:Knee osteoarthritis belongs to the category of "Bi syndrome" in traditional Chinese medicine. Wei’s traumatology, a famous orthopedic and traumatology school, has accumulated rich experience in treating knee osteoarthritis after several generations of inheritance and development. It emphasizes equal attention to "both internal and external, and both qi and blood" . It has established the academic thoughts that "Qi and blood are essentials, equal attention should be given to sinews and bones, the liver and kidney, the spleen and stomach should be regulated, attention should be paid to manipulation and balance. " It has formed a comprehensive therapy including internal and external treatment of drugs, manual diagnosis and treatment and guidance therapy. Combined with clinical medical records, the experience of Wei’s traumatology department in the treatment of knee osteoarthritis was introduced.

摘要:The article introduces Professor Zhao Zhenchang's experience in treating chronic glomerulonephritis through invigorating qi and nourishing yin, dissipating turbidity and dredging collaterals. Professor Zhao Zhenchang believes that chronic glomerulonephritis is mostly caused by deficiency, dampness-turbidity and blood stasis, with deficiency of spleen and kidney as its root, deficiency of both qi and yin as its key pathogenesis, dampness-turbidity and blood stasis as the pathological products in the disease development, and an important promoting factor as well. In clinical practice, the above factors are often mingled with each other to cause diseases, resulting in a syndrome with deficiency of qi and yin, in combination with turbidity and blood stasis. Hence, it is thought that the treatment method should be mainly focused on benefiting qi and nourishing yin, dispelling turbidity and dredging collaterals. Professor Zhao Zhenchang's self-designed prescription "Zishen Xiezhuo Tongluo Decoction" proves to be remarkable in curative effect.

摘要:By way of receiving training as intern, sorting out clinical medical records, and reading medical classics, the author of the paper analyzes Professor Tan Yi's understanding of the etiology and pathogenesis of chronic nonspecific ulcerative colitis, summarizing his clinical experience in the treatment of this disease. Professor Tan Yi believes that deficiency of spleen and stomach, dampness and turbidity, and blockage of qi movement are of great significance in the pathogenesis of chronic nonspecific ulcerative colitis. It is suggested that the treatment at the early stage should be based on eliminating pathogenic factors, and the treatment of an enduring one be based on supplementing and boosting, warming and activating spleen qi. In the whole process, attention should be paid to distinguishing de fi ciency from excess, combining strengthening vital qi with eliminating pathogenic factors. As for diagnosis and medication, it is proposed that prescriptions be selected based on syndrome differentiation, making flexible adjustment in compatibility of medicines and their dosage, and making good use of classic and minor prescriptions.

摘要:"Phlegm" is the pathological product of the disorder of water and fluid metabolism in human body, and also an important factor inducing the occurrence of phlegm diseases. The production of phlegm is most closely related to the three viscera of lung, spleen, kidney and sanjiao. As a pathogenic factor, "phlegm" can often cause the obstruction of qi and blood circulation in meridians, affect the water-fluid metabolism, rise and fall of qi movement, and eventually lead to the occurrence of various difficult and strange diseases. There has always been a saying that "all diseases are caused by phlegm" , demonstrating difficulties in clinical diagnosis and treatment of these phlegm-caused diseases. Based on decades of clinical experience, Professor Xiong Jibai, master of Chinese medicine, puts forward an academic idea of "treating difficult and strange diseases from phlegm" , which has achieved remarkable clinical effect. Some representative medical records are presented in the paper, and they are hoped to bring some enlightenment to readers.

摘要:Professor Xu Luzhou believes that diarrhea-type irritable bowel syndrome belongs to the category of "diarrhea" or "abdominal pain" in traditional Chinese medicine. Its key pathogenesis is spleen deficiency as the root, combined with liver and spleen disorder, cold and heat, while its main pathological factor is dampness. In clinic, Professor Xu Luzhou puts forward "treating spleen first, regulating liver and spleen simultaneously, manipulating both cold and warm" as the key points of treatment principle. At the same time, differentiating and treating by stage is emphasized in combination with different stages of the disease. Based on the clinical experience of Professor Xu Jingfan, master of traditional Chinese medicine, Professor Xu Luzhou himself designs the prescription "Baishi Decoction" and uses it flexibly with corresponding medicine and dosage addition or subtraction according to varying symptoms. The treatment method turns out to be remarkable in curative effect.

摘要:From the view of the relationship between triple energizer and the metabolism of Qi, blood and water, the theory of the Qi transformation of triple energizer was applied to the syndrome differentiation and treatment of idiopathic membranous nephropathy. From the holism, to explore the etiology and pathogenesis of idiopathic membranous nephropathy, to grasp the key pathogenesis, occurrence and development rules in different periods. It is considered that the basic pathogenesis of the dysfunction of triple energizer, the stagnation of vital energy and the imbalance of Qi, blood and water in the triple energizer is the interaction of the upper, middle and lower triple energizers throughout the whole process of idiopathic membranous nephropathy. In addition, the imbalance between water and Qi can lead to the formation of blood stasis no matter the deficiency or the excess. On the treatment, it can strengthen the vital energy and expel pathogenic factors, restore the Qi of triple energizer, regulate the Qi mechanism of triple energizer, and balance the Qi, blood and water. This theory can be used as clinical guidance and provide a better basis for the treatment of idiopathic membranous nephropathy.

摘要:The lung and kidney are closely related. Professor Zou Yanqin, a distinguished Chinese medicine master, has applied the theory of "treating kidney diseases by regulating lung" to treat primary glomerulopathy based on different stages. At the acute stage, clearing throat and ventilating lung are adopted to eliminate pathogens and alleviate symptoms, followed by dispersing wind and ventilating lung to reduce wind edema. At the remission stage, the symptoms and the root causes are both treated with replenishing the lung and clearing away the damp-heat, restoring the healthy qi to remove latent pathogens. At the recovery stage, the treatment is to support the healthy qi and treat the root cause by tonifying qi and consolidating defensive qi along with nourishing the lung and kidney to strengthen the root.

摘要:Professor Wu Mianhua identifies and treats radiation damage based on the theory of "stagnant heat". He concludes that the etiology and pathogenesis of radiation damage are mostly due to the binding of heat and toxicity, the contention between heat and stasis, and damages of qi and yin. The main treatment methods is to clear heat and resolve toxins as well as cool blood and dissolve stasis. The fundamental treatment are to boost qi and nourish yin as well as moisten dryness and engender fluids. The therapy is to protect the spleen and stomach, and not to forget the founciation of the postnatal constitution throughout the whole course of treatment. Syndrome differentiation and disease idcntification are applied simultaneously according to the characteristics of the main syndromes. Radiation therapy combined with traditional Chinese medicine at the beginning of the treatment can effectively prevent and treat radiation damage of patents with mailignant tumors and improve their life quality.
