WANG Xu's Clinical Experience on Treating Thyroid Nodules
It is to summarize professor WANG Xu's clinical experience in the treatment of thyroid nodules.Professor WANG Xu believes that the pathogenesis of thyroid nodule is mainly due to liver failing to soothe, spleen failing to transform and transport, phlegm coagulation and blood stasis in front of the neck. The disease location is mainly in the liver and spleen, related to the heart, kidney and stomach. The pathological factors are Qi stagnation, phlegm coagulation and blood stasis, and most of the patients have deficiency syndrome. The clinical syndrome differentiation is based on the comprehensive consideration of disease location, constitution, pathological factors and nodular nature, and the treatment mode of "complex methods and compound prescriptions" is applied. The comprehensive treatment includes three methods of regulating Qi, five methods of resolving phlegm, three methods of removing blood stasis and four methods of tonifying deficiency. In clinical practice, we should pay attention to the balance and harmony of root causes and manifestations, three factors and life adjustment. The curative effect of thyroid nodule is significant and it is worthy of popularizing.
