    • A case of chronic subdural hematoma treated conservatively with traditional Chinese medicine of "tonifying qi and eliminating phlegm, strengthening spleen and excreting water,unblocking meridians and relieving the pain"

    • In the medical field, a 47 year old female patient sought medical attention for over 4 months due to recurrent headaches. After traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis, it was diagnosed as headache, qi deficiency and phlegm accumulation syndrome, while Western medicine diagnosis was chronic subdural hematoma. Using traditional Chinese medicine decoction for treatment, tonifying qi and resolving phlegm, strengthening the spleen and promoting diuresis, unblocking collaterals and relieving pain. After 2 months of treatment, the patient's symptoms improved significantly, and the head MRI showed complete absorption of the subdural hematoma, achieving good therapeutic effects.
