    • Case of WENG Lili's Experience in Treating Female Alopecia Areata

    • Xiamen Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital reported that a 41 year old female patient named Xie suffered from alopecia areata due to poor mood, anxiety, and fatigue caused by family reasons. Diagnosed with oil wind (qi stagnation and blood stasis syndrome) by traditional Chinese medicine, the treatment principle of soothing the liver and regulating qi, promoting blood circulation and removing blood stasis was adopted. Oral administration of traditional Chinese medicine, plum blossom needle tapping treatment, and external application of hair growth solution were used. After 4 months, new hair appeared in the area of hair loss, and the therapeutic effect was definite.
