A Case of Dynamic Syndrome Differentiation of Classic Prescriptions in the Treatment of Children with Tic Disorder
Summary of case history, The patient, male, 13 years old, was hospitalized in the pediatric encephalopathy specialist clinic of our hospital due to "intermittent abnormal voice in the throat for 2 years, aggravation with shrugging and rolling eyes for 2 months". Two years ago, there was no obvious cause for abnormal voice in the throat, and there was no systematic treatment,.He was hospitalized in a specialized hospital in local area, Considered "tic disorders".Two months ago, the child was suspected to have the following symptoms worsen due to excessive eye use in online classes and high test pressure.For further diagnosis and treatment, he visited our office on May 7th, 2022.The following symptoms: the patient was clear consciousness, mainly suffering from abnormal voice in the throat, which could be seen every day, with a frequency of about 2-3 minutes, and obvious intensity. Occasionally shrugged and rolled eyes. It was obvious when feeling nervous and watching electronic products. He was usually irritable, timid and nervous. Less appetite, poor appetite, sleep well, dry stool, 1 line in 3-4 days, normal urination. The tongue was red, the coating was white and thick, the pulse was smooth, and the pharynx was slightly red. ,TCM diagnosis, Tic syndrome (qi stagnation turns into fire, liver hyperactivity wind syndrome). ,Western medicine diagnosis, Tic disorder (Tourette syndrome). ,Therapeutic methods,: first, added Bupleurum and longbone oyster soup to reduce the liver and fire, and stopped the wind. Longdan Xiegan decoction was added and subtracted to clear the liver and fire, and clear away dampness and heat. According to the changes of pathogenesis and symptoms, dynamic syndrome differentiation and treatment.
