Summary of case history,　After head trauma in infancy, the patient had systemic tonic-clonic seizures 2 times per week, and poor efficacy after drug treatment. In 1999, no seizures after partial resection of the right temporal lobe and regular carbamazepine treatment. In 2016, due to work pressure, depression, and seizures recurrence 3 times per week as focal episodes with consciousness disturbance, he was diagnosed with temporal lobe epilepsy in a hospital in Beijing, poor efficacy after constantly adjusted antiepileptic drug treatment regimen. By August 2022, after taking the medicine regularly for about 4 months, the epilepsy did not occur again, and the quality of life was significantly improved.
