Summary of case history, This 1-year-old child was initially diagnosed in September 2020 and had been coughing and wheezing for more than a month. Initially, he developed fever, coughing, wheezing, gurgling with sputum, and sweating at night. He was diagnosed as asthmatic bronchitis by a pediatrician at a certain hospital, and intravenous infusion of ceftriaxone sodium and other drugs was ineffective for 7 days. However, he continued coughing and wheezing for half a month. When seeking medical attention, the tongue coating should be thin and yellow, with a red tongue texture. Propose to use Maxing Shigantang in combination with Tingli Dazao Xiefeitang. During the follow-up visit, the symptoms decreased after taking the first three doses, and stopped after taking five doses. Later, he coughed due to catching a cold, accompanied by sneezing, and had a clear discharge for one week.
