Summary of case history, Medical history abstract: Kong, female, 34 years old, was not pregnant 7 years after marriage due to "abdominal pain with progressive aggravation for more than 10 years."In 2011, the patient visited the First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University for ultrasonography, which showed uterus 13 * 9.8 * 7.6 cm, suggesting adenomyosis with adenomyoma formation. The patient visited several western hospitals successively, and the doctor recommended total hysterectomy. The patient wanted to preserve reproductive function, so came to our hospital for treatment. The patient was not pregnant 7 years after marriage. On the first day of each menstrual period, the lower abdominal colic refused to press, the anus bulge sensation, the menstrual blood volume was large, the color was dark and there was a mass, and the pain was reduced when getting heat, accompanied by backache and knee weakness, abdominal feels cold, the amount under the usual belt, frequent urination, and inability to sleep at night., TCM diagnosis, gynecological mass (kidney yang deficiency, blood stasis blocking the uterus), infertility.,Western medicine diagnosis, adenomyosis, infertility., Therapeutic methods, Oral Chinese medicine, Retention enema ,Clinical outcomes, After 3 months of treatment, the dysmenorrhea disappeared and all symptoms were relieved. The patient was treated with addition and subtraction of the disease for 7 months. Ultrasound confirmed that the size of the uterus decreased from 13 cm×9.8 cm×7.6 cm to 9.7 cm×6.7 cm×5.3 cm. In July 2014, the patient delivered a child by caesarean section, and the mother and child were safe.
