Summary of casehistory,　The patient, an elderly male, was diagnosed with MDS for 8 years and his weakness worsened for 1 week. In 2014, he was given compound QingHuangSan (3 capsules/time, 3 times/day)+Chinese herbal soup (LiuWeiDiHuangWan+XiangShaLiuJunZiTang) to strengthen the spleen and tonify the kidneys+a small dose of androgen sorally, which was maintained for a period of hematological improvement.The disease progressed from early 2020 to August 2020 with out systematic medication treatment. Thesymptoms: weakness, dizziness and tinnitus, palpitations, poorappetite, frequent nocturnal urination, normal bowel movements, pale mouth, pale tongue, smooth and white coating, slightly yellowish greasy tongue root.
