A case report of chronic myeloid leukemia complicated with primary myelofibrosis
Summary of case history, The patient, female, 70 years old, was diagnosed with chronic myeloid leukemia, primary myelofibrosis, and severe anemia (52 g/L). She was taking molecular targeted drugs imatinib (4 tablets) and ruxolitinib (3 tablets) for a long time, regular infusion of red blood cell suspension to correct anemia. After targeted drug treatment, the patient presented to Xu Jianzhong's TCM outpatient clinic for pain in the knee, ankle and shoulder joints, bone pain, weakness in walking, dizziness, oral ulcers, poor sleep, dry stools, dark-red tongue with thick white coating, ecchymosis, and deep-thin-astringent pulse.,TCM diagnosis, Consumptive disease (deficient liver and kidney, stasis of poison and dampness),Western medicine diagnosis, Chronic myeloid leukemia, primary myelofibrosis, severe anemia,Therapeutic methods, Taking nourishing liver and kidney, invigorating the spleen and removing dampness, removing blood stasis and detoxification as the treatment method, and using the empirical formula Xingsui Decoction as the basis for clinical modification and subtraction treatment for more than 3 years.,Clinical outcomes, The patient was fatigued, and the symptoms of joint and bone pain were significantly improved. The targeted drugs imatinib (2 tablets) and ruxolitinib (2 tablets) were adjusted. The red cell suspension was not infused during the traditional Chinese medicine treatment, and the hemoglobin fluctuated at 70-80 g/L.
