Prof.Wang Qingguo’s experience in clinical application of Aconite
Aconite is pungent and warm in nature, attributive to the Heart, Spleen and Kidney Meridians. It has the functions of regaining yang and relieving adversity, replenishing fire and assisting yang, dispelling cold and dampness, warming meridians and relieving pain. Professor Wang Qingguo inherited Zhang Zhongjing’s ideas and experience in medication and used aconite during clinical treatment. This paper introduces Professor Wang’s experience in the clinical use of Aconite from the following three aspects: rescuing the adversity with a large dose of aconite, enhancing the effect of aconite through reasonable compatibility, using aconite as soon as possible when replenishing fire and assisting yang. Combined with two cases of acne and Sjogren’s syndrome, this paper introduces the specific methods of Professor Wang to expand the use of aconite.
