Summary of case history ,A middle-aged and elderly male patient went to the hospital mainly because of "dizziness for 1 year and aggravation for 1 week". The patient developed dizziness 1 year ago without obvious incentives, and was diagnosed with "diabetic cardiac autonomic neuropathy and orthostatic hypotension" in an external hospital. After symptomatic treatment, the patient's condition improved slightly. In the past 1 year, the patient had intermittent attacks of dizziness, and the blood pressure fluctuated greatly, which could be relieved after self-medication. One week ago, the patient's dizziness aggravated, and the blood pressure continued to increase. He went to the emergency department of our hospital. After symptomatic treatment, the blood pressure stabilized. But still dizziness, nausea, chest tightness, shortness of breath and other symptoms, then seek Chinese medicine treatment. Symptoms and signs: The patient is less nervous, dizzy, nausea, chest tightness, shortness of breath, upset, fatigue, normal diet, poor sleep, loose stools, and urination. The tongue is dull, with ecchymosis on the sides, white and greasy fur, and fine pulse.,TCM diagnosis and syndrome ,Dizziness (syndrome of qi deficiency and blood stasis ),Western medicine diagnosis, 1. Adult delayed autoimmune diabetes; 2.Diabetic cardiac autonomic neuropathy,Therapeutic methods ,Traditional Chinese medicine uses the method of nourishing qi, nourishing yin, clearing heat and activating blood, and uses Shengmai San for treatment, along with acupuncture and warm moxibustion to warm the meridians. Western medicine to routine symptomatic treatment.,Clinical outcomes ,The patient's blood pressure was stable, symptoms such as dizziness were relieved, and the quality of life was improved.
