Summary of case history ,Patient Chen X, female, 65 years old, sought treatment because of "left knee pain for more than 1 year, aggravated for one week". The patient had no obvious history of trauma. Factors such as going up and down stairs and cold weather would induce pain. Pain could be relieved by taking painkillers but it would be repeated after withdrawal. The first was to use Liu's massage technique to take the pain points of the left knee, acupoints, foot Taiyin kidney meridian and other meridians as the treatment target to promote local blood circulation and relax muscles. The second was oral Chinese medicine compounds. Traditional Chinese medicine prescription is based on the concept of ,Yushen Hezhi,. Traditional Chinese medicine compounds are mainly composed of herbs that replenish kidney Qi and activate blood circulation and remove blood stasis, such as Eucommia ulmoides, Dipsacus, Achyranthes bidentata, Salvia miltiorrhiza, Angelica sinensis and Panax notoginseng.
