Wang, male, 36 years old, went to the hospital because of 1 month after palliative surgery for malignant sigmoid tumor with liver metastasis. In February 2021, he went to the Kunshan People's Hospital because of abdominal discomfort half a year and was diagnosed with sigmoid colon cancer. He underwent surgery on March 4, 2021. The pathology showed: moderately to poorly differentiated adenocarcinoma, with full-thickness invasion, tumor thrombus in the vessel, and no cancer tissue involvement at the upper and lower cutting edges, LN 5/15. Oxaliplatin + capecitabine were successively given chemotherapy, chemotherapy can be tolerated without special discomfort. Re-examination on Mar 25, 2021 showed: 1.Malignant tumor of sigmoid colon, postoperative; 2. Multiple nodules and low-density lesions in the liver, considering the metastasis. Symptoms and signs were that Fatigue occured sometimes, fart occured occasionally. Eating properly, sleeping well, sticky stool once per day, light yellow urine. String and smooth pulse, dark red tongue, yellow and greasy fur.,TCM diagnosis ,Colon cancer (the appearance of damp,heat,blood stasis,and cancerous toxin,spleen qi deficiency syndrome),Western medicine diagnosis ,Malignant tumor of sigmoid colon, postoperative, liver metastasis (T4aN2aM1aIVA),Therapeutic methods ,Traditional Chinese medicine was used to clear away heat and dampness, remove blood stasis and detoxification, strengthen spleen and healthy qi, and improve clinical symptoms. Western medicine was treated with "oxaliplatin + capecitabine" chemotherapy.,Clinical outcomes ,After taking the medicine, the patient's fatigue did not show, and the liver metastasis basically disappeared. Now the patient's condition was stable.
