Summary of case history ,Qian, male, 3 years and 7 months old, went to the pediatric clinic of our hospital on February 5, 2022 because of "repeated snoring at night for more than one year". According to the clinical manifestations and auxiliary examination (X-ray: adenoid hypertrophy, A/N=0.71), the patient was diagnosed as "adenoid hypertrophy". Diagnostic information: The children had symptoms of stuffy nose and runny nose, but no cough, sputum and earache. He had occasional abdominal distension, poor tolerance and restlessness. He snored at night, with open mouth breathing. He had no apnea, no cyanosis in his lips and normal stool. The tongue was dark, the moss was white and greasy, and the pulse was thin.,TCM diagnosis, nasal suffocation (evidence of qi and blood stasis).,Diagnosis, adenoidal hypertrophy.,Therapeutic Treatment, Self-made ,Huayu Xiaoxian, Decoction was used to promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis, promote qi circulation and disperse stagnation.,Clinical outcome, After 2 months of treatment, the symptoms of snoring and mouth-opening breathing were significantly improved, and there was no obvious nasal congestion and runny nose. X-ray examination showed that there was no obvious hypertrophy of adenoid.
