Summary of case history ,Medical history summary: Wang, male, 4 years old, went to the pediatric outpatient clinic of our hospital on June 16, 2022 for "Blinking and sniffing were found for 1+ months". Diagnostic information: The mental state of the patient was with spirit, and he blinked, sucked the nose, occasionally shruged shoulders, sneezed in the morning, snuffled at night, turn over and over when he sleepd. He was picky eaters, and has normal bowel movements. He has red tongue with thin, white coating, and rapid pulse.,TCM diagnosis ,Hepatic wind--external wind induction.,Western medicine diagnosis ,Tic disorder pending.,Therapeutic methods ,"Triggered by wind pathogens, and internal movement of liver wind" is the key to the pathogenesis of tics. The treatment should be based on quenching wind and stopping the movement. Treating with traditional Chinese medicine which is based on syndrome differentiation and paying attention to regulate the liver and apply the wind medicine.,Clinical outcomes ,The patient's tic symptoms were basically relieved, and occasional sucked the nose about 5-10 minutes before bedtime.
