A Case Study on the Treatment of Nasopharyngeal Carcinoma by Cheng Hai-bo, a QiHuang Scholar, by Using the Pathogenesis Theory of Cancerous Toxin增强出版
Summary of case history, Wan, male, 54 years old, went to the hospital because of "nasopharyngeal cancer 4 months after radiotherapy and chemotherapy". In December 2020, he was diagnosed with "nasopharyngeal carcinoma". He received the pathology of nasal endoscopy because of blood in the nose for more than 1 month. The pathology of nasal endoscopy showed: low non keratinized squamous carcinoma. He underwent 34 times of radiotherapy and 3 times of chemotherapy. The current radiotherapy and chemotherapy are over. Nasopharyngeal MRI (2021-09-08) showed: Review after nasopharyngeal cancer treatment, no significant change compared with before, the inflammation of the right mastoid process was improved, roughly the same as before. Diagnostic information: Tinnitus, the symptom aggravates after meal and speaking. There are viscous, dark red blood clots in the sputum and nasal mucus sometimes. Dry throat, foreign body sensation, slight relief after drinking hot water. Feeling heavy lower limbs when running. Eating and sleeping are good. Feces and urine are normal. Dark red tongue, yellow greasy tongue fur, thin stringy and slippery pulse.,TCM diagnosis, Nasopharyngeal carcinoma (the appearance of phlegm, blood stasis, heat and cancerous toxin, qi and yin deficiency).,Western medicine diagnosis, Nasopharyngeal carcinoma.,Therapeutic methods, TCM treatment: tonifying qi and nourishing yin, clearing heat and reducing phlegm,cooling blood and removing stasis,eliminating cancer and detoxify. Treatment: Liuwei Dihuang Decoction combining with Decoction of Glehnia and Ophiopogon and Liujunzi Decoction.,Clinical outcomes, After taking the medicine, The patient's symptoms improved significantly, and the patient's condition is now stable.
